OPPO has recently added new members to its sub-flagship Reno smartphone series, although they are only available in China to date. The OEM will address this soon, however, by introducing these devices to India. They will become the latest source of new-ish MediaTek Dimensity and Snapdragon chipsets on this event.
The Reno7 Pro will also offer a new Sony 50MP sensor as a main camera, and is thus dubbed a "Portrait Expert" by its OEM. OPPO also asserts that it will introduce a "flagship camera" experience to its new market. It will also bring its latest ColorOS 12 software to India, although it is still likely to be based on Android 11.
On that note, it is apparent that it will launch under this name, thus throwing rumors that it and its vanilla counterpart might debut as members of the Find X5 series on the global market into doubt.
The definitively Reno variants started at about US$420 (INR 32,500) in China, although there is no guarantee this will translate to a new market. Nevertheless, who knows how OPPO may seek to grab attention away from a potentially major Samsung launch with its new Reno7 launch on February 4, 2022.
