The OPPO Find N does not fold in durability test
OPPO released the OPPO Find N a while ago as its first premium, foldable phone aimed right at the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3. The Find N has now made the trip over to JerryRigEverything's durability test and performed excellently—failing to fold, colloquially speaking.
While the OPPO Find N's main screen does get scratched easily, that's about expected as foldable phones generally use softer materials for their displays. The rest of the phone looks to be built incredibly well, though, with both its front and rear glasses holding up solidly.
The OPPO Find N shines best in the dust test, however, as even introducing plenty of dust to the entirety of the device fails to cause any issues with the folding mechanism. The hinge doesn't creak even with all the dust as well, which has been an issue with Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold series so far.
All of that considered, the OPPO Find N shows that it's possible to build a mostly durable foldable device. Foldable phones are reportedly set to get cheaper in the future, so also sorting out their typically iffy durability bodes well for the smartphone market. The OPPO Find N is a solid step forward in that department and should be a sign of things to come.
