Sony has officially launched the Xperia 5 II. The new device incorporates most of the key features of the flagship Xperia 1 II and includes a few key upgrades including an OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate.

The OnePlus Nord may not have found its way to the US but OnePlus is apparently set to bring a great alternative after all. New information has now confirmed OnePlus's plans to launch a phone, branded as the "OnePlus Nord N10 5G", in the US, with notable takeaways including a Snapdragon 690, 64 MP camera, and sub-US$400 pricing.

The Flex 5G is Lenovo's premium 2-in-1 with the Snapdragon 8cx platform that allows it the same standalone connectivity as most 2020 flagship phones. It has been on sale in the US before; however, those units were locked to the Verizon UW bands. The OEM now sells SKUs that may be used on any network.

AnTuTu has been busy compiling its August price-performance charts for Android phones, and there are new leaders in two out of the five tables. The AnTuTu midrange smartphone performance chart for August is currently dominated by Redmi, Honor, and Huawei. The Redmi 10X 5G and 10X Pro 5G with their MediaTek Dimensity 820 processors have managed to keep challengers away from their positions at the top, while devices with Kirin chips bring up most of the rear.
