Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra has to settle for third place in AnTuTu's latest flagship smartphone performance chart as the iQOO 5 and iQOO 5 Pro take control
It wasn’t a big surprise when the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra occupied the number one position in the AnTuTu flagship smartphone performance chart for August, considering its high-end specifications, potent 16 GB + 512 GB configuration, and the obligatory Snapdragon 865 chip from Qualcomm. However, the Mi 10 Ultra’s reign at the top has been disturbed by a couple of iQOO smartphones.
The smartphone producer iQOO, which is one of various brands owned by BBK Electronics (OnePlus, Realme, etc.), has also chosen the Snapdragon 865 for its devices, although the configurations are lower than that of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra: 12 GB + 256 GB. However, according to AnTuTu, iQOO has carefully optimized the SD 865 for the iQOO 5 and iQOO 5 Pro to make sure every ounce of performance is made available to users.
All of the entrants in the chart have managed average scores of over 600,000 points, with a couple of representatives counting on the Plus variant of the SD 865 to create good benchmark results (Lenovo Legion Pro, ROG Phone 3). With the 5nm Snapdragon 875 expected to cause a stir when it is finally officially revealed, it seems likely Qualcomm will have this particular chart tied up for quite some time yet.
