The TCL 10 TABMAX and 10 TABMID are 2 new slates launched at IFA this year. They feature their brand's in-house NXTVISION technology for "the most vibrant colors and rich details", as well as reduced blue-light emission. They may also go well with the OEM's new MOVEAUDIO S200 TWS earbuds.

TCL has unveiled its latest form of display technology as part of its IFA Special Edition 2020 presentation. NXTPAPER is an alternative to e-ink that, as its maker claims, "repurposes natural light" to prevent eye-strain while still producing a convincing range of colors. These panels are also touted to improve on contrast, power-efficiency and thickness compared to more conventional screen materials.

With the HiPad X, Chuwi has created a new tablet aimed at Android fans. The 10.1-inch device runs Android 10, supports pen input, has a detachable keyboard and includes an LTE modem. Chuwi will launch the HiPad X on September 15, but it is already available to order on AliExpress.

The fourth-generation iPad Air has been linked to a new design that would leave it looking more like its Pro sibling. SvetApple has posted new renders based on its latest leaks. Huawei has launched two new tablets in its home market of China. Called the Enjoy Tablet 2 and MatePad 10.8, the tablets feature the Kirin 710A and Kirin 990 chipsets respectively. Both devices will run EMUI 10.1 out of the box, but the MatePad 10.8 is the more premium of the two tablets.

Qualcomm has announced that its third fiscal quarter of 2020 (3FQ2020, which ended on June 28 of this year) ended with a total of US$4.89 billion in revenue. MediaTek has released a new 5G-ready SoC called the Dimensity 720. It consists of two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.0GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores and an ARM Mali-G57 GPU. The chip supports two carrier aggregation and sub-6GHz 5G networks. We can expect to see it debut alongside some mid-rangers later this year.
