Samsung starts producing 12 Gb LPDDR5 memory for premium handhelds

The LPDDR5 standard was supposed to hit the markets in 2020, but it looks like Samsung rushed the mass production schedule in order to consolidate its premium handheld offering and promote the adoption of 5G and AI tech for future smartphones. By the end of this month, Samsung also plans to begin mass production for 12 GB LPDDR5 chips with eight 12 Gb modules.

Expected colors for upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 10 phablets revealed

A couple of sources have revealed the choice of colors that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 lineup will probably offer. Obviously, the South Korean manufacturer can be adventurous to a point as there are at least four different SKUs in the series. So even though black will still be par for the course, there could be some dazzle brought in by colors such as pink and silver.
