The GeForce MX450 looks set to offer tremendous gains over the Intel Iris Xe and AMD Radeon RX Vega series after limping through the disappointing GeForce MX250 and MX350

The upcoming GeForce MX450 will bring the biggest gen-to-gen leap in performance for the low-power MX series since the launch of the MX150 back in 2017. Both Intel and AMD are now able to offer GeForce MX150-like performance from more power-efficient integrated GPUs which will push Nvidia to finally incorporate Turing onto its next generation MX400 family.

Schenker XMG Core 15 (Tongfang GK5NR0O) Laptop Review: AMD gamer with a good price-performance ratio

82% Schenker XMG Core 15 (Tongfang GK5NR0O) Laptop Review: AMD gamer with a good price-performance ratio

Ryzen 7 pulls ahead. The configuration we tested costs less than 1500 Euros (~$1745) and is equipped with a powerful Ryzen 7 4800H, an Nvidia RTX 2060, a good IPS display, and a fast SSD. So what's the catch? There really isn't one, even though the XMG Core 15 is far from doing everything right. Particularly the powerful Ryzen improves our subjective impression. All the strengths and weaknesses of the Schenker in the Tongfang case are described in our detailed review.

Genesis Thor 420 RGB Low-Profile Mechanical Keyboard Review: Low profile, small setbacks, good value

The Genesis Thor 420 RGB is a compact low-profile mechanical keyboard. Using Content Slim Blue mechanical switches (Cherry MX Blue-equivalent), the keyboard offers excellent feedback and is highly responsive. A large feature set, including customizable RGB lighting, macro key setups, and more, offers a lot for gamers and typists alike. However, the low profile and smaller keys create issues that may turn off some potential buyers.

Zotac's GAMING GeForce RTX 3080 Trinity uses POSCAP capacitors, which are lower quality than the MLCC capacitors used by Nvidia and a few other OEMs. This may cause problems when overclocking. (All images via Igor's Lab)

Low-quality capacitors could be the cause of Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 crashes

It's no secret that the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 seems to have trouble with stable overclocks. The fly in the ointment could be the use of low-quality capacitors, as discovered by Igor's Lab. Some AIB cards use cheaper and less effective capacitors, which inhibits the delivery of clean power to the GPU, possibly resulting in a crash.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090: Initial reviews show that native 8K gaming is a step too far for the US$1,499 card in many triple-A games

The RTX 3090 may be an exceptional card, but it is not powerful enough for native 8K gaming across the board according to multiple reviews. The US$1,499 card can handle 8K gaming using DLSS 2.1, but that is not 8K gaming in the truest of senses.
