The IdeaTab S2110 is one of the thinnest and lightest amongst its 10.1-inch peers, complete with a dual-core Qaulcomm CPU and even a docking station for keyboard and touchpad support. Business Sale? HP is selling their no longer new ProBook 4530s for prices significantly lower than 500 Euros (~$651). Through utilizing their cash-back offer the current price is reduced to 398 Euros (~$518). Our test reveals whether or not this is an opportunity to take advantage of.

Virtually an ultrabook. Members of the slim and affordable IdeaPad S400 range are tempting to customers who are interested in an ultrabook, but do not want to pay the demanded price. Our test reveals whether Lenovo's 14-inch laptop is successful.

Discount Entertainment. Toshiba’s updated 15.6-inch mid-range notebook seeks to provide a viable alternative to more expensive gaming-capable models. Sporting an AMD Trinity chipset surrounded by a sleek but basic construction, how does it fare against the ever-fierce competition?

Opposites. Is a 1500 Euros (~$1956) Ultrabook too pricy? So a Vaio for 2400 Euros (~$3131) would be even further out of your range? What about an AMD netbook for 250 Euros (~$326)? Too cheap? Affordably good. Samsung's Series 5 13-inch laptops do not only feature frequently used Intel components, but also alternative equipment from AMD. Despite the low price, AMD's combination might even reap in a few advantages for itself. We scrutinized whether this is the case.

Budget Performer. Lenovo updates the IdeaTab A series with both 7-inch and 9-inch offerings, each with a Tegra 3 processor, metal roll cage and aluminum housing. For around $269, is this tough tablet enough to convince users on a budget?

Crossfire Power? Compact design with no loss, with entertainment and performance: that is how the HP Pavilion m6-1050sg is described on the HP website. The AMD quad-core A10-4600M APU with the Radeon HD 7660G + 7670M dual graphics card is supposed to provide the performance needed. Are there really no losses?

Facelift. Under the name 900X3C-A04DE Samsung offers the well-known 13.3-inch Premium Subnotebook with fresh hardware from Intel. In addition to the matte display with a resolution of 1600x900 pixels, an Intel Core i7-3517U dual-core processor, 4 GB of RAM, and a 256 GB SSD will be offered. Prices start from around 1500 Euros (~$1940).

Surfer's tablet. Manufacturers who are now launching their very first Tegra 3 tablet on the market have to come up with something special to stick out from the competition. Sony does this with the casing, equipment and one special feature: The Xperia Tablet S is splash-protected. Our test will reveal its other specialties.

Good and cheap. We are testing one of the lowest priced members from Lenovo's IdeaPad N581 series with the IdeaPad N581-MBA4YGE. The laptop costs around 400 Euros (~$518), sports a dual-core Pentium processor and relies on Window 7 as the operating system. Our test will show whether the device is worth its money.

Tanks a lot. Over 40 million registered users and a bigger E3 stand compared to many (former) top publishers: Wargaming.net shakes up the Free2Play sector with World of Tanks. In order to investigate the ongoing trend we tested version 8.0 with a variety of notebook GPUs.

Performance zenith. Ivy Bridge processors have been on the market for just about half a year - time to introduce a small performance upgrade in terms of higher clock speeds. We tested what the new models Core i7-3940XM, 3840QM, 3740QM and 3630QM are capable of.

Worker of the Month. The Lenovo ThinkPad L430 is a true office notebook. Lenovo has paid special attention to making this model practical and giving it clever extras. Small tablet. Toshiba installs Nvidia's high-performance Tegra 3 platform in an awesomely compact case in the AT270. The AMOLED screen is only 7.7-inches but provides a high resolution. Will this work?

A Look at the Details. HD Graphics 4000 = HD Graphics 4000? Not at all: behind the name of Intel's fastest integrated graphics unit, there is a hidden collection of feasible specifications, some of which have a considerable influence on the performance. We try to shed light in the dark and explain the influence of clock rate, L3 cache and memory expansion.

Glossy All-Rounder. The Toshiba Satellite L850-153 is equipped with middle-class hardware and targets price-conscious multimedia users. Although it offers a powerful Ivy Bridge CPU and a DirectX 11-ready Radeon HD 7670M, the 15-inch laptop is available at a price starting at 650 Euros (~$840). Sounds like a good deal, except for the sensitive case.

AMD ThinkPad. A ThinkPad for little money always sounds like hitting a home run. We looked at the AMD version of Lenovo's successful mini and found advantages over the Intel counterpart.

Longer battery life. The Ivy Bridge update from Samsung's handy 14-inch Chronos perfected the battery life. You will also learn if the new processor and the new GeForce GT630M graphics pay off for the buyer.

Bullseye. Lenovo makes a good throw with its Edge 130: stable, very good inputs, long battery runtime, upgradeable and good performance. The bundle is available for 375 Euros (~$488) without Windows. Will we discover any disadvantages whatsoever?

High-end debut. With the 1500 Euros (~$1927) ultrabook Aspire S5, Acer wants to attract customers in the luxury segment. In order to achieve this, the manufacturer sets on fast hardware, fine materials, and a couple of interesting features. Is this enough to put pressure on the established competition?
