Reviews for the HP Envy 4-1020ea
Source: Tech Advisor Archive.org version
The Envy 4 is a good looking and well-made laptop for the price. It's not as attractive at Lenovo's U410, though, and battery life is the only real standout feature. We prefer the U410's extra gaming power, but the Envy 4 remains a sensible choice if you need to work away from the mains.

There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.
The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.

With this weight, a laptop is rather heavier than average. Devices in this range shine more with screen size and performance than with mobility.
HP: Founded in 1939, the US company is a major server and printer manufacturer and one of the leading IT companies in the world. Until 2015, the company was called Hewlett-Packard Company. After a split, the computer division was renamed HP Inc.
In 2023, HP had an approximate market share of 22% of global PC sales, making it number 2 after Lenovo.
60%: Such a poor rating is rare. There are only a few notebooks that were rated even worse. The rating websites do not give a purchase recommendation here.
