Archive.org versionDell's lowest cost Inspiron 15 laptop certainly is affordable at $400 and offers a good deal of performance from its Core i3 processor. It also sets itself apart from its competition with small things such as easy to upgrade memory and Bluetooth support. All of this is tempered by the fast that this is an older chassis so it lacks modern features like USB 3.0 or even the customization that Dell offers for its more expensive 15R series.

Intel HD Graphics 3000: Integrated graphics card in the Intel Sandy Bridge processors (Core ix-2xxx). The HD 3000 is the faster (internally GT2 called) version with 12 Execution Units (EUs).
Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.

Dual-core processor based on the Sandy Bridge architecture with an integrated graphics card and dual-channel DDR3 memory controller. The CPU is clocked at 2.3 GHz and features the Turbo Boost 2.0 only for the graphics card.
