Cooler Master has a raft of new gaming monitors in the pipeline, including the GP27QP. Ahead of the device's rumoured summer 2024 release, Cooler Master has confirmed various technical details, including a 240 Hz refresh rate and the usage of over 1,000 Mini LED backlight zones that help achieve 350 nits peak brightness when viewing SDR content.

ASUS has another ZenScreen product in development. Arriving alongside the ZenScreen Duo OLED MQ149CD, the ZenScreen Smart MS27UC is a 4K monitor that can function as a Smart TV when work is finished for the day.

Sony has shipped the $34K 30.5” BVM-HX3110 premium 4K HDR critical grading monitor for filmmakers. The key difference is support for 4,000 nits maximum brightness by the HX3110 versus 1,000 nits for the prior X300, without OLED burn-in.

MSI has exhibited the MEG 321URX again, five months after its last appearance. Still a 4K and 240 Hz QD-OLED monitor, the MSI MEG 321URX is now being advertised as the 'world's first true AI gaming monitor' thanks to its AI SkySight engine.

ASUS has shared new details about the ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP, its first 27-inch gaming monitor with a 1440p resolution and 480 Hz refresh rate. In short, the ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG27AQDP will challenge the GZ2713 that Cooler Master will release later this year for $1,099.

ASUS has revealed the ZenScreen Duo OLED MQ149CD, a device that resembles its Zenbook Duo and Lenovo's Yoga Book 9i. The ZenScreen Duo OLED MQ149CD is actually a portable monitor though, which contains a pair of 14-inch OLED panels that can combine to deliver 21-inches of screen real estate while weighing roughly 700 g.

It may have taken five months, but the new version of the Odyssey OLED G6 is finally here. Combining a 360 Hz refresh rate with a 1440p resolution across a 27-inch surface, the Odyssey OLED G6 G60SD lines up against numerous examples from Alienware, Gigabyte and MSI, among others, that use the same underlying Gen 3 QD-OLED panel. Like the also new G80SD, the G60SD comes with free gifts that range from a $200 gift card to a pair of Galaxy Buds2 Pro earbuds.

The GP57ZS is one of Cooler Master's largest gaming monitors announced to date. The Cooler Master GP57ZS rivals the Acer Predator Z57 with a Dual 4K resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate and 2,304 Mini LEDs at its disposal.

Corsair has expanded its Xeneon series with the Xeneon 34WQHD240-C, the third monitor announced so far with Samsung's latest 34-inch QD-OLED panel. Unlike previous examples, the Corsair Xeneon 34WQHD240-C combines an 1800R curvature with a 1440p resolution and a 240 Hz refresh rate.

The latest Steam Survey highlights Full HD as the most popular display resolution, with over 58% of the total. At the same time, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 is the most popular video card, accounting for roughly 6% of the total. The most popular multi-monitor resolution is 3,840 x 1,080, with slightly less than 58%.

LG has released a new OLED gaming monitor in Europe. Arriving as the UltraGear OLED 32GS95UX-B, the monitor is a regional variant of the UltraGear OLED 32GS95UE with dedicated 4K/240 Hz and 1080p/480 Hz display modes.

The MSI MPG 341CQPX is one of the first examples of Samsung's new 34-inch QD-OLED panel. More of a Gen 1.5 QD-OLED panel than Gen 2.5, the new panel allows the MSI MPG 341CQPX to combine a 1440p resolution with a 240 Hz refresh rate for $899.99.

MediaTek has announced that it is bringing its latest SoC for TVs to Computex 2024. It seems that Xiaomi is preparing to launch one of its first Mini LED gaming monitors globally. While the company has not revealed pricing or availability yet, full specifications for the Xiaomi Mini LED Gaming Monitor G Pro 27i can already be seen on Xiaomi's global website.

Acer has announced a new foray into the smart monitor market with a range of new 27- and 31.5-inch displays, some of which bear Nitro branding thanks to their 180Hz refresh rate spec. They are also Google TV screens for access to apps such as Netflix and YouTube, and support a productivity-friendly Multiview split-screen feature.

Xiaomi has released a new compact monitor globally. Sold for under £100 in the UK and €100 in the Eurozone, the Xiaomi Monitor A22i combines a 1080p resolution with a 75 Hz refresh rate and a 3,000:1 contrast ratio, among other features.

HP has presented an exciting monitor in the Series 7 Pro 738pu that offers plenty of space thanks to its 37.5-inch 21:9 panel and achieves a particularly high contrast ratio thanks to IPS Black. Thunderbolt 4 allows for 100 watts of power delivery and numerous connectivity possibilities.

ASUS has presented the first example of a dual display mode LCD gaming monitor. To be sold as the ROG Strix XG27UCG, the 27-inch gaming monitor will be capable of operating at 4K and 160 Hz or 1080p and 320 Hz on demand.

Gigabyte has lifted the lid on the AORUS FO27Q2, another 27-inch gaming monitor based around a Samsung Display QD-OLED panel. Seemingly, the Gigabyte AORUS FO27Q2 is a showcase for a new 1440p and 240 Hz QD-OLED panel though, which will likely be cheaper than its 360 Hz counterpart.

The LG UltraGear 48GQ900-B gaming monitor is on sale. It's currently available on the official website for $699.99, which translates to a massive $800 discount from the regular price tag. The unit comes with a 48-inch OLED panel that features a 120 Hz refresh rate, 4K resolution, Nvidia G-Sync, and AMD FreeSync.

The 27M2N5500 is Philips' latest Evnia gaming monitor. Arriving for under £250 in the UK and €300 in the Eurozone, the Philips Evnia 27M2N5500 still packs a 27-inch panel that delivers a 1440p resolution, 350 nits peak brightness with VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification and a 180 Hz refresh rate.

Looking Glass factory has just released two new 16- and 32-inch ‘holographic’ monitors that can display 3D content to multiple viewers at once without requiring a special glasses or headset. The monitors are largely intended for professional and commercial applications, and are available in either landscape or vertical oriented versions.

Philips has now released the Evnia 49M2C8900L, a new QD-OLED gaming monitor that serves as a cheaper alternative to the Evnia 49M2C8900. The Philips Evnia 49M2C8900L combines a quad 7.5 W speaker set-up with USB-C Power Delivery and a 144 Hz panel that delivers up to 1,000 nits peak brightness.

The LG 21HQ613D is a new 21.3-inch IPS monitor designed for medical use (specifically, mammography). The product delivers a resolution of 2048 x 2560 pixels, corresponding to an aspect ratio of 4:5, and it is capable of adjusting its brightness automatically.
