The new JetStream video card by Palit is based on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 and features customizable ARGB lighting, two 120 mm fans, a Triple-A Die casting Plate kit, as well as a dual-BIOS design that allows users to choose the silent or performance mode. The price will exceed US$500 but it is still unknown at this stage.

Expected by many gamers to perform as good as the RTX 2060 with less power required — and less heat generated, of course — the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 is now rumored to use the GA107-300 graphics chip with 2,304 cores and a TGP value of just 90 Watt. Sadly, it is only expected to arrive in January 2021 and NVIDIA has not confirmed it yet.

The AMD Ryzen 9 5950X has been impressing many with its various appearances on synthetic benchmarks. Is this the final nail in the coffin for the controversial benchmark?

The finalized PCIe 6.0 specs should be released in late 2021, a timeframe coinciding with the first consumer implementations of the PCIe 5.0 standard from AMD and Intel. Alleged photos of what appear to be Rocket Lake and Alder Lake processors are now doing the rounds around the interwebs. The information on the IHS is masked for obvious reasons, but we see that the Alder Lake processor is taller than current Comet Lake parts possibly to accommodate the additional 500 pins.

The tests that included three Ryzen 5000 Zen 3 processors in a fight against the Intel Core i9-10900K, both parties using 16 GB of memory and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 graphics card revealed what we already knew: Intel needs to worry and — more important — hurry up with the release of its next-gen processors.

The first RTX 3060 Ti custom card has been spotted, and it is already available to purchase in for nearly US$1,000. Sold by Saudi Arabian retailer Silicon Valley Computers, the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 Ti EAGLE OC will probably cost closer to US$400 upon release on December 2.

NVIDIA has another two RTX 30 series cards up its sleeve, according to a prominent leaker. Apparently, the company will release the RTX 3050 Ti and RTX 3060 early next year on its GA106 GPU with up to 3,840 CUDA cores and 6 GB of VRAM. The arrival of the RTX 3050 Ti may signal that there will be no new forthcoming GTX x050 cards, too.

A new Geekbench listing has revealed multiple aspects about the Xe-HP Neo, Intel's high-powered graphics chip. The listing not only shows the volume of compute units that the chip has, but shows the volume of cores, clock speeds and built-in VRAM.

AMD's overall X86 market share at the end of Q3 2020 reached 22.4%. The desktop CPU market share is already higher than 20% and, with the launch of the Ryzen 5000 CPUs, it may quickly climb to new all-time-highs in the next few quarters. Thanks to the success recorded by the Renoir APUs, AMD's notebook market share also reached an all-time-high 20.2%, while the server sector is not doing that great with only 6.6% market share.

Godfall's creators claim that the game would use up to 12 GB of the Radeon RX 6800 series cards' VRAM when using 4Kx4K textures at Ultra settings. This does concern owners of cards such as the RTX 3070 and RTX 3080 casting doubts on how well these cards age over time for 4K gaming.

Apparently, the previous rumors saying that the RTX 3060 Ti is expected to launch in mid-November are not true. Chinese site Expreview now claims that the actual launch date is set for December 2. This card is expected to cost US$400, and should be a bit faster than the RTX 2080 Super. A non-Ti version may also be launched later on, depending on what AMD brings to the table in the mid-range sector.

The upcoming EliteMini Box X400 mini PCs will support Ryzen 2000 / 3000 / 4000 APUs up to a Ryzen 7 Pro 4750G processor. Even though the chassis is the same as the Intel version that comes with a GTX 1050 Ti GPU, the AMD models do not support discrete GPUs. Pre-sales will start this November.

Raspberry Pi Foundation has announced the launch of the Pi 400 — a complete PC within a keyboard aimed at getting users up and running without much hassle. The Raspberry Pi 400 is much similar to the Pi 4 in terms of specs but comes with a slightly faster CPU. The Pi 400 is available as a standalone keyboard-PC for US$70 or as a PC desktop kit with all accessories for US$100.

According to a prominent chipset leaker, the impending Ryzen 5 5600X has been overclocked to just over 6.0GHz. This is shown in a set of CPU-Z detection results that appear to confirm the processor can indeed be pushed this far. The new leak comes in a wave of others showing the new 5-series in a good light compared to its Intel rivals.

NVIDIA launched the RTX 3000 Founders Edition (FE) series starting at US$499 in the United States. Therefore, Indian flagship GPU fans may not have been impressed to find that the same prices in their market were far above these levels, even without GST. The OEM's division for that country has now fixed this issue, however.

The new AMD Ryzen 5 5600X is almost as fast as the Ryzen 7 3700X and its level of Cinebench performance simply blows the Intel Core i5-10600K out of the water: 42% better in multi-threading and 25% faster in the single-core test. The new AMD processor is also over 20% faster than its predecessor in both multi-threaded and single-threaded tests.

Intel Rocket Lake seems to have an edge in single-core performance over the AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, if a leaked UserBenchmark score is to be believed. The Rocket Lake part is shown to be just 5% behind the Ryzen 9 5950X in overall scores although the latter managed good leads in individual multi-core tests.

With more than a decade since its introduction, the HOF brand by GALAX is now returning in an all-white design with a massive triple-fan cooling solution. Unsurprisingly, these two key-elements were combined to accommodate the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series. Since this is an early render, the final version of the card must look better.

AMD has released a slew of gaming benchmark results for the RX 6800, RX 6800 XT and RX 6900 XT, offering a look at how its RDNA 2 cards stack up against NVIDIA's recent efforts. The initial results are encouraging, and suggest that AMD can match or outperform NVIDIA at 1440p and 4K in multiple triple-A games.

CPU-Z scores of the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X are now available, and they show good leads over the Core i9-10900K in single-threaded workloads while also showing significant leads over the Core i7-10700K and Ryzen 9 3900X. From the available information, it looks like the Ryzen 5 5600X is also adept at multi-core tasks as well.

A 3DMark Time Spy result of an alleged AMD Radeon RX 6800 has surfaced. Though not confirmed to be an RX 6800, the leaked Time Spy graphics score shows a healthy 23% lead over the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Founders Edition.

According to a Videocardz report, NVIDIA is planning to launch a cheaper GeForce RTX 3060 Ti on November 17th, featuring 4864 CUDA cores and a 180W TDP. The card will likely be competitive with the popular GeForce RTX 2070 Super, while launching at a relatively affordable price-point.

AMD is working on its own implementation of super sampling similar to NVIDIA's DLSS technology. AMD's super-sampling technique is likely to be based on DirectML and is touted to be open source and cross-platform, which means this feature will also grace consoles such as the Xbox Series X and Series S along with the PlayStation 5 in the near future.

Leaked DXR benchmarks indicate that AMD's hardware ray-tracing solution could be better than expected. In Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the Radeon RX 6800 at native-res trails the GeForce RTX 3070 by only a slight margin, even with the latter using DLSS upscaling.

Benchmarks compiled and aggregated by tipster @_rogame indicate that AMD's new Smart Access Cache technology might not offer a game-changing performance uplift in most cases. Nevertheless, the same benchmarks indicate that Big Navi's raw raster performance could make that a moot point.

ROCCAT has announced new additions to its gaming peripheral line-up. The new Vulcan keyboard series consists of Pro, Pro TKL and vanilla TKL variants. They are equipped with this OEM's Titan switches and AIMO lighting system, as is the new Burst Pro mouse. Its properties include feet made of pure, heat-treated PTFE to enhance its speed and responsiveness.

AMD is seemingly in a buoyant mood, trolling NVIDIA about the size and power requirements of its RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 cards. The red team has poked fun at NVIDIA's new 12-pin power connector too, but responses online suggest that AMD has misunderstood why people are excited about the likes of the RX 6800 XT and RX 6900 XT.

Now that AMD officially announced the top-of-the-line Navi 21 GPUs, there is no reason to restrict AIBs from designing custom RX 6900 XT versions anymore. Industry insiders are hearing that AMD is already in talks with its partners to release such custom flagship cards, and availability could be set to early 2021.

SiFive's HiFive Unmatched mini-ITX platform is designed for DiY developers. It comes with a 5-core RISC-V processor complemented by 8 GB of onboard DDR4 RAM. Users can add an NVMe SSD, a wireless card and a dGPU or any other PCIe Gen 3 X8 expansion card. The platform is compatible with many popular Linux distributions and will soon be up for pre-orders at US$665.

Today's launch of the GeForce RTX 3070 was another bust for fans of Founders Edition cards, following a major retailer emptying customer baskets to attempt to cope with the influx of website traffic. Unsurprisingly, resellers have flooded market places like eBay with RTX 3070 Founders Edition cards, where they are selling for nearly 50% more than the RTX 3080.

AMD's partners have started announcing custom versions of the Radeon RX 6800 and RX 6800 XT, including a liquid-cooled card by ASUS. Gigabyte will be selling what look like reference cards, while MSI has at least a GAMING X TRIO version of the RX 6800 XT planned.

Intel has offered a high-level overview of the architectural changes coming to Rocket Lake-S next year. Rocket Lake-S will be based on a Cypress Cove architecture, which is a combination of an Ice Lake CPU and an Xe iGPU. Rocket Lake-S will offer PCIe Gen4 support and offer enhanced overclocking and double-digit percentage IPC benefits over Comet Lake-S.
