Qualcomm has revealed two new SoCs for Always On, Always Connected PCs — the Snapdragon 7c and the Snapdragon 8c. These SoCs will power low to mid-range ARM laptops and are touted to offer performance and battery life improvements over corresponding 15W ULV options from Intel. The Snapdragon 8cx will continue to exist and is now being targeted towards enterprises.

At the ongoing Snapdragon Tech Summit, Qualcomm has taken wraps off the Snapdragon XR2. The Snapdragon XR2 aims to bring new extended reality experiences to future headsets and offers greatly improved video, audio, and AI performance over previous generations. The Snapdragon XR2 is the world's first 5G extended reality platform and offers support for seven concurrent cameras and a custom computer vision processor for more accurate tracking with low latency.

At the Snapdragon Tech Summit 2019 event, Qualcomm offered a deep dive into the technical specifications of its latest flagship SoC, the Snapdragon 865. The Snapdragon 865 features improved Kryo 585 CPU, an Adreno 650 GPU, a Hexagon 698 DSP, and the Spectra 480 ISP. The Snapdragon 865 does not feature any onboard modem and instead, requires OEMs to use the companion Snapdragon X55 modem that is Qualcomm's flagship 5G offering. Qualcomm has revealed further information about the new Snapdragon 765/765G SoCs that are targeted at the upper mid-range segment. The Snapdragon 765/765G feature an integrated Snapdragon X52 5G modem and offer 5.5 TOPS of AI performance. While most specifications of both the SKUs are the same, the Snapdragon 765G is being targeted at mobile gamers with a slight increase in Prime CPU clock, increased Adreno 620 performance, and availability of select Snapdragon Elite Gaming features.

At the Snapdragon Tech Summit 2019 in Hawaii, Qualcomm showed off its next generation ARM SoCs — the Snapdragon 865 and the Snapdragon 765/765G. While full technical details about the new SoCs are still awaited, Qualcomm did indicate that the Snapdragon 765/765G feature integrated 5G, advanced AI, and select Snapdragon Elite Gaming experiences.
