Xiaomi is offering a pretty substantial deal on the Redmi K30 Pro, with three variants having their prices slashed for the 618 shopping festival. The discounts range from 602 yuan (US$85) to 700 yuan (US$99) depending on the RAM + storage model. Considering the Redmi K30 Pro with its Snapdragon 865 is already thought of as an affordable “flagship killer”, these limited-time discounts will make it an even more attractive prospect to buyers.
From June 9, Xiaomi fans will be able to pick up the Redmi K30 Pro with 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage for 2,397 yuan (US$339), which is a reduction of 602 yuan (US$85) from the usual listed price of 2,999 yuan (US$424). Better deals are available on the higher-specced models: 700 yuan (US$99) savings can be had on both the 8 GB + 128 GB model and 8 GB + 256 GB variant. These cuts leave the prices at 2,699 yuan (US$382) and 2,999 yuan (US$424), respectively.
These are generous price cuts from Xiaomi, especially on a smartphone that has only been on the market for a few months. The Redmi K30 Pro has LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, and it is also ready for 5G and can connect at Wi-Fi 6 speeds. It is understandable why it was described as a “flagship killer” upon launch, and at these new killer prices the Redmi K30 Pro smartphone from Xiaomi is even more of a challenger to the established hierarchy.
