90% Asus ROG Zephyrus S17 laptop review: Gaming device case opens up to provide more fresh air. Cool - but is it safe?

Open Sesame! Laptops have little space to adequately cool powerful hardware. Asus probably wondered, "why don't we just open the case and let the hardware get a direct supply of fresh air?" No sooner said than done, but does this actually work? Does it deliver the promised advantages in terms of noise and temperature, and is it stable enough at the same time? We put this to the test.

The RTX 3050 Ti can easily be replaced by a lower TGP RTX 3060.

Nvidia's RTX 3050 Ti mobile GPU is not really worth it: 50% slower than the RTX 3060, but only 10% cheaper

Since Nvidia allows for a wide variety of TGPs on all of its mobile GPUs, the RTX 3050 Ti does not really make any sense. OEMs can easily replace this model with a lower TGP RTX 3060 and still keep the 6 GB of VRAM. Slapping only 4 GB on the RTX 3050 Ti is not even the bare minimum for some current AAA games, let alone whatever games will be released in the coming years.
