TSMC began construction of a 5nm chip fabrication plant in April, 2021. Due to a global shortage, the company plans to pay a debt offering of US$4.5 billion. A water plant next to the chip manufacturing plant burst into flames on October 23, 2021.

The "POCO M4 Pro" appears on Geekbench with a MediaTek processor and more RAM than previously thought

The M4 Pro is now rumored as the next phone to launch from the Xiaomi brand POCO. This event is looking more and more likely in the face of new Geekbench listings for a device with a model number thought to conform to the device. They point to a mid-range MediaTek Dimensity processor and Android 11 for the upcoming smartphone.
