POCO confirms the existence of the M4 Pro with a new launch announcement
POCO has just confirmed that it will hold 1 more launch in 2021, and that it will be for a successor for the M3 Pro 5G. This device has been said to exist since certifications for a new Xiaomi phone, some with the product name to match, started to emerge over the last month.
Now, the brand has also acknowledged this documentation and conceded that the M4 Pro exists. It also now asserts that it is rated to "Power Up Your Fun!", a promise that may or may not be delivered with an up-to-date MediaTek Dimensity processor.
This platform is thought to be joined by RAM starting at the 4GB level in the upcoming phone, and to drive an Android 11-based ROM thus far. The POCO M4 Pro's leaks have yielded remarkably little in the way of design-related tips as yet, and its brand has chosen to avoid the same in its first and thus far only teaser.
Then again, it is rumored to look quite like a certain Redmi phone that also has happened to debut recently. That line of speculation will be upheld or debunked for sure on November 9, 2021 at 20:00 GMT (21:00 CET) during POCO's last live-streamed unveiling of the year.
