LG added a few new sliders that are meant to fix the near-black gamma problems reported on last year's models. Thus, we have the Black Stabiliser and Fine Tune Dark Areas sliders that can deal with the elevated black, but we also see features like White Stabiliser for bright highlight details in HDR and a Prevent Input Delay toggle that helps reduce input lag with 60 Hz signals.

It turns out that disabling the ETH hash rate limiter on the GeForce RTX 3060 is as simple as installing a GeForce development driver that NVIDIA published on its website. NVIDIA has admitted that the driver removes the limiter, contrary to claims that a secure handshake existed between multiple elements. Unfortunately for NVIDIA, the driver remains freely available to download.

A recent update to Resident Evil Village's listing on the Microsoft Store indicates that Capcom's upcoming game will have a surprisingly small file size, especially considering that it's a 9th-generation console exclusive. A now-deleted Bethesda Store listing for DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 2 has given us a rough idea about the game's setting, weapons and aesthetics. It will feature a new weapon called the Sentinel Hammer, and at least five new enemy types. Additional DOOM Eternal DLC seems unlikely, as The Ancient Gods Part 2 is expected to end the game' storyline.

New Mac Pro models are rumored to be coming for 2022 that will seemingly remove the need for Intel Xeon W processors. The pricey desktops will apparently be fitted with chips that offer a mixture of performance cores and efficiency cores, leading to speculation that the future Mac Pro desktop PCs will utilize up to 64-core Apple Silicon.

The Apple M1 SoC, also frequently known as Apple Silicon, has made a ground-breaking entry into PassMark’s CPU Mark chart for single-thread performance. The Apple M1’s rating placed it above the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X and nipping at the heels of the Intel Core i7-11700K, thus unsettling the AMD/Intel establishment with its presence.
