A smartphone with a cinema display and sub-par cameras. The Xperia 5 is not the first smartphone that Sony has released with a 21:9 display. We have already seen the Xperia 1 and Xperia 10 trying to distinguish themselves from their peers with this aspect ratio, and now Sony wants to persuade people that 21:9 is the future with the Xperia 5. Having such a tall display has proven practical in our experience, but the Xperia 5 falls short of expectations in some crucial areas, as our review will reveal.

Cheaper screen, better choice!? Razer has tried to create the ultimate machine for gamers on the go. The result is the new Razer Blade Stealth. It has many good qualities, such as its powerful GPU, but the 4K screen cannot satisfy us. The CPU performance could be better as well.

Brave Finn. After an excellent start of the 7-series, the Nokia 7.1 provided long faces in the test, because especially its battery life could not convince. With the Nokia 7.2 everything is supposed to get better and HMD Global is adding a thick scoop of battery performance, more memory and a triple camera.

The Clone Wars. The UBook Pro offers high-end looks with low-end performance for a mid-range price. If you can get past the slow Core m3 processor, then you'll find the super-bright 12.3-inch display and three USB ports quite useful when compared to the dimmer and pricier Surface Pro.

For bookworms. Amazon's Kindle of the 10th Generation receives a Kids Edition. Not only has the shopping giant finally added panel lighting to the current version of its smallest eReader, but the children's version also includes an extended warranty and a flat rate for plenty of reading material.

A display surprise. The Redmi Note 8 is another entry-level Xiaomi smartphone, but it's one that redefines the quality of displays we expect from sub-200-Euro (~$220) devices. The panel is bright, contrast-rich and even suitable for those who are PWM sensitive. The Redmi Note 8 is not all good news though, as our review unit will establish.

Fanless has its price. It's well known that products under the "Porsche Design" label don't necessarily offer a good price-performance ratio. As long as hardware and processing are of high quality, this factor isn't bothersome for the generous wallet. 890 grams (~1.96 lb). With the Swift 7, Aces has added a feather-light and ultra-slim 14-inch notebook to its offerings. The device scores with an IPS touchscreen display, 16 GB of working memory (dual-channel mode), and silent operation. This is accompanied by a good battery life and two Thunderbolt-3 slots. For the whole package, you have to put almost 2000 Euros (~$2226; $1700 in the US) on the table.

Hexa-core power. After an impressive showing with the XPS 13 7390 2-in-1, the original XPS 13 clamshell deserves some love, too. Dell is putting the XPS 13 back in the spotlight with the Intel Comet Lake-U Core i7-10710U to be one of the first subnotebooks shipping with a full-fledged hexa-core ULV CPU.

Dynamic do-over. The Tecra is back under a new name. The Dynabook Tecra X50 retains much of the Tecra flair for thinness but ultimately falls flat. While the X50 is a competent machine overall, it is priced far too high for what it offers.

Matte outside, shiny inside. Even though OnePlus has placed the focus on the OnePlus 7T: The OnePlus 7T Pro has once again turned out to be a really good smartphone. Its price, however, is slowly creeping up to match its competitors. Does that make it loose its appeal? Find out in our review.
