The Red Magic 3 wants to prove that you don't have to spend $800+ on a high-end gaming smartphone. The latest model with the Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC and UFS 3.0 storage will be only $450 USD until December 3.
Allen Ngo,

Thanksgiving may be over, but the Holiday shopping season is just beginning. From now until December 3 (12 AM PST), Nubia will take off up to $50/€50/£50 from its Red Magic 3S smartphone depending on the day and color option. The 8 GB and 12 GB SKUs launched for $479 and $599, respectively, prior to the new price cuts.

Three color options are currently available: Eclipse Black, Mecha Silver, and Cyber Shade. Each will be discounted as follows:

Eclipse Black Friday - Nov 29 – Dec 3 (12AM PST)
Eclipse Black (8GB + 128GB) & Accessories deals, up to $30/€30/£30

Mecha Silver Weekend – Nov 30 – Dec 3 (12AM PST)
Mecha Silver (8GB + 128GB) & Accessories deals, up to $30/€30/£30

Cyber Shade Monday – Dec 2 – Dec 3 (12AM PST)
Cyber Shade (12GB + 256GB) & Accessories deals, up to $50/€50/£50

Unlike the regular Red Magic 3 that launched back in mid-2019, the late 2019 Red Magic 3S uses the faster Snapdragon 855 Plus with faster UHS 3.0 storage and a brighter backlight (~412 nits vs. ~294 nits according to our measurements). The large 6.65-inch 2340 x 1080 AMOLED display remains untouched as does the silky-smooth 90 Hz refresh rate. Though we find the smartphone to be relatively inexpensive when considering its high-end specifications, but be prepared for its relatively heavy weight and high power consumption.

The Red Magic 3 competes with other gaming-centric smartphones like the Razer Phone 2 and the Asus ROG Phone.
