Apple might completely ditch AMD's graphics solutions and stick with custom A Bionic GPUs for MacBooks beyond 2021

Apple is planning to equip all 2021 MacBooks with ARM-based CPUs designed in-house and it looks like this switch could also happen for GPUs. Currently, most AMD laptops come equipped with AMD dGPUs, but, starting with the 2021 MacBook models, we could see Apple solely using in-house GPUs derived from the A Bionic SoCs.

The first indications of an RDNA3-based Navi 31 GPU have surfaced in the macOS 11 Big Sur Developer Beta 1 driver code. The driver also contains references to upcoming AMD APUs such as Van Gogh and Cezanne along with HPC accelerators such as the MI100 and M200. With the MI200, AMD could be looking at a multi-chip module (MCM) approach and that could trickle down to Navi 31 as well.

Rumour | 5G Apple iPad Pros with A14X Bionic and mini-LED displays to arrive 1H21

Rumour has it that Apple will announce an iPad Pro refresh in 1H21. Sporting A14X Bionic SoCs, Snapdragon X55 5G modems and mini-LED displays, the next iPad Pro series is still expected to come in 11-inch and 12.9-inch variants.

"Apple Prime" to counter Amazon Prime? iOS 13.5.5 beta code hints at an Apple bundle with Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple Music

Beta code for iOS 13.5.5 seems to indicate that Apple is considering launching a bundle subscription serving integrating different offerings like Apple News, Apple TV+, Apple Music, and possibly Apple Arcade. Can we expect this "Apple Prime" alternative to Amazon's Prime ecosystem in time for the iPhone 12 release?

iPad Air fourth-gen to get display increase to 11-inches, Apple A13 Bionic SoC

A fresh rumor regarding the anticipated 2020 iPad Air fourth-generation model suggest that Apple will indeed go ahead with increasing the display size of the device from 10.5-inches to 11-inches. This gels with a previous rumor although the latest rumor also suggests that Apple will also move the next iPad Air from a Lightning connector to a standard USB-C port.
