The Cybertruck's release date is pegged for November 30, but it will take well into 2025 for Tesla to achieve any meaningful production ramp, said Elon Musk, because of 'complex' features like 14-inch suspension travel. The 'utilitarian' Model 2, however, Tesla's mass electric car, could catch up with the Cybertruck soon thereafter.

The X20 is one of ENGWE's latest e-bikes, and is rated for up to 1,000W of power and up to 93 miles of range (albeit in its dual-battery variant only). Now, it is also available at its best price yet on the OEM's website. It is unlocked through the use of a specific code at checkout for a limited time.

Decathlon has launched the 2023 BTWIN Longtail Electric Cargo Bike R500E. The e-bike comes in new colors but is otherwise identical to the older model. Features include a 250W motor, up to 90 km (~56 miles) assistance range and load bearing up to 170 kg (~375 lbs) across a front basket and rear luggage rack.

The Toyota FT-3e and FT-Se concept electric vehicles have been teased ahead of their official unveiling later this month. The FT-3e is an SUV with an unusual digital display on the car's exterior. The FT-Se is a sporty coupe with an aerodynamic design and "next-generation cockpit".

A tentative leak on the Rivian forum indicates that the R1T and R1S may get an updated Ascent trim in 2024, increasing the power output of the dual-motor AWD EV to over 1,000 hp. Allegedly, this performance bump is enough to make the heavy car wheelie on hard launches.

Tesla has silently made the Model 3 Highland available for order in the United Kingdom after an EU release earlier this year. The new Model 3 is available in two trims for the time being, and the base Model 3 RWD starts at £39,990.

Stellantis has announced the Citroën ë-C3 for the European market. The new EV is built on Stelantis's Smart Car Platform. While it will only feature 199 miles (320.26 km) of WLTP range, the new EV will also only cost €23,300, with a €19,990 coming in 2025.

A fan of the Tesla Cybertruck happened to have a measuring tape on hand upon spotting one of the infamous electric pickup trucks. The measurements indicate that the Cybertruck will have an impressively-wide bed, despite being considerably narrower than the Ford F-150 Lightning and just barely skinnier than the Rivian R1T.

The standard power pack provides up to 50 km (~31 miles) range, with an optional extender doubling this to 100 km (~62 miles).

BH Bikes has launched the iAerolight, a lightweight electric racing bike. The model weighs 11.8 kg (~26.0 lbs) and has a 250W 65 Nm motor. The iAerolight 1.7 and iAerolight 1.8 bicycles come with up to 130 km (~81 miles) assistance range as standard, with the range-topping iAerolight Pro 1.9 delivering up to 185 km (~115 miles) range.

The Kia 2024 EV9 SUV EV will open for reservations in the US later this month. The model will start at US$54,900, with the first units expected to ship later this year. Five trim levels will be offered, from the entry-level Light RWD to the range-topping GT-Line e-AWD with dual motors delivering 379 hp.

Xiaomi's upcoming first-gen car, is widely thought to land as a purely battery-powered electric vehicle (or BEV). However, according to the latest reports, it might also be possible to buy it as an extended-range EV (or E-REV). This kind of car integrates a small internal combustion engine (ICE) intended to help it run on electric power for longer.

Decathlon has launched the Elops Speed 900E electric city bike in various European countries. The new model has a Mahle X35 drivetrain with up to 80 km (~50 miles) range. Other features include smartphone connectivity, GPS tracking with the Decathlon Mobility app, and four assistance modes.

The 2024 Decathlon Rockrider E-FEEL range of electric mountain bikes has been revealed. The line-up includes three models with RockShox suspension, Shimano motors and a 630Wh battery. The two more expensive e-bikes feature automatic shifting thanks to Shimano Di2 transmissions.

A recent rumour claims the upcoming Cybertruck Performance will sport the same tri-motor Plaid drivetrain as the Tesla Model X Plaid. There have been a number of claims made about what trims the Cybertruck will be offered, but it looks as though initial offerings will be dual-motor and tri-motor variants, with a single-motor trim coming later. It also seems as though Tesla has abandoned the bulletproof glass idea.

The most glaring issue of the sinfully expensive Model X Plaid appears to be the suspension, which might not be strong enough to deal with the 1,000-hp drivetrain of Tesla's flagship SUV. SRAM's Eagle Powertrain is an e-bike battery, motor, and controller setup that aims to make riding an eMTB a seamless experience. The 250 W (nominal) system comes with two ride modes and is compatible with 630 Wh or 720 Wh battery units from Brose.

The Solé Bicycles e-24 electric bike is now available to pre-order in North America. The model is the first e-bike from the brand, boasting a top speed of 28 mph (~45 kph) and up to 40 miles (~64 km) of range. The Tesla Cybertruck has been spotted towing a SpaceX Raptor Vacuum engine around Starbase in Texas. Estimates put the Raptor engine at 3,500 pounds (1,588 kg). The Cybertruck's rear-wheel steering seems to come in handy when making tight manoeuvres while towing.

Decathlon has discounted various versions of its Elops 500 electric city bike in the EU, offering up to €150 off. The model comes with a step-through or stepover frame in several colors. Features of the e-bike include a 250W motor, 115 km (~71 miles) range and an LCD with an integrated USB port.

Volvo's first compact electric SUV is landing in the US at a downright affordable US$34,950 in early 2024. It will be offered in five different trims, starting with the Single Motor Extended Range Core trim and topping out at US$46,600 for the Twin Motor Performance AWD Ultra trim.

Ford's new F-150 Lightning Flash trim will come standard with 320 miles of range and a 15.5-inch touchscreen infotainment display, with premium tech options filtering down to the US$69,995 trim. Starting in 2024, Ford will also equip all F-150 Lightning units with a battery heat pump for a cold-weather range boost.

Rivian's R1S electric SUV is now available with the Max pack battery option in the online vehicle configurator, which bumps the maximum range of the EV up from 352 miles (~566.5 km) to 400 miles (~643.7 km). The Max pack is still unavailable for the top-end Quad-Motor AWD variant of the R1S.

After finally making an appearance at an in-house crash test facility, Tesla's Cybertruck looks like it's seen better days. Drone footage of the electric pickup truck reveals a much less in-tact frunk, indicating at least a frontal impact test was carried out.

Honda appears to be entering the electric SUV space with an SUV that will slot in next to the Honda Passport. The Prologue will start in the “upper US$40,000s,” and it will be available with 21-inch wheels and an AWD drive train with 288 hp.
