Deruiz Lapis new SUV e-bike with full suspension and 110Nm motor now available
The Deruiz Lapis e-bike is now available in various European countries. The company describes its new model as an SUV electric bike, suitable for mountain trails or bumpy roads in the city. Plus, the electric motor makes climbing any hills you encounter on your ride easier.
The Lapis is powered by a 48V 250W mid-mounted motor from ANANDA for a top speed of 25 kph (~16 mph) and up to 110Nm torque. This is accompanied by a 664Wh lithium battery for a longer range of 74 to 145 km (~46 to 90 miles). The e-bike has a RockShox Judy Silver 27.5” Solo Air fork with 100mm travel at the front and RockShox Monarch RL Air at the rear to make your ride more comfortable. An ANANDA LCD screen sits between the handlebars, showing real-time information like your speed and remaining battery. Plus, Bluetooth allows you to connect your smartphone.
Other features include 10-speed derailleur gears from Shimano, the Prowheel crank 34-42T single chainring, 27.5” x 2.4” Schwalbe Hurricane MTB tires and Tektro M535 hydraulic disc brakes. Various accessories accompany the e-bike, like fenders, a rear rack, a kickstand and a spanner. The model comes in Cumbrian green and weighs 28.4 kg (~62.6 lbs). You can order the Deruiz Lapis e-bike directly from the dealer in the EU for €3,299. The company will ship the bike for free to customers in Germany, with a delivery cost of €20-40 to countries like the Netherlands, France and Spain. In the UK, you can buy the SUV model for £2,499 from third-party dealers like Uni-Trax.
