Kawasaki has partnered with Garmin on a touchscreen for its new RIDGE Limited side x side. The centre console solution will be somewhat similar to the Tread powersport navigator, with features including navigation from preloaded maps, a communication tool and information about the vehicle.

Garmin has announced that it will provide a center console for the upcoming 2024 Kawasaki RIDGE Limited side x sides. The newly unveiled off-roading vehicle is designed for work, utility, recreation, and trail riding. The vehicle has a sporty look and combines a 999cc in-line four-cylinder engine with a WARN VRX 45-S Powerspot Winch.

The Garmin element will be similar to its Tread powersport navigator, which offers features like turn-by-turn trail navigation. The system provides access to OpenStreetMap (OSM), a free-to-use world map, and USFS Motor Vehicle Use Maps to guide you. Plus, information on public and private land, satellite imagery, and topographic maps help you find roads and trails suitable for the vehicle. If you are travelling with others, you can use a Group Ride Tracker and Radio tools to keep tabs on each other’s location and to communicate.

Garmin will supply an 8-inch touchscreen, which can be operated while wearing gloves, also showing information like RPM, battery voltage, and the temperature of the engine and CVT. The Kawasaki RIDGE Limited will launch this spring, retailing for $33.499. You can currently buy the Garmin Tread Powersport Off-Road Navigator for $542.29 at Amazon, thanks to a 10% discount.
