A Decathlon catalogue suggests the company plans to launch various Rockrider e-bikes in the US in 2024. Four models are expected to be sold in the region: the E-EXPL 700 S, the E-FEEL 700 S, the E-FEEL 900 S and the E-FEEL S TEAM EDITION. These e-bikes have already been announced for the EU, with some already available in 2023 versions.
The E-EXPL 700S is a 10-speed electric bike powered by a 250W 70Nm Brose T Aluminum motor with a Shimano Deore Linkglide rear derailleur and Tektro M530 brakes. The 11-speed E-FEEL 700 S has a Shimano EP600 engine with 250W power and 85Nm torque with Shimano Cues U6000 derailleur and TRP Slate Evo brakes. The E-FEEL 900 S and E-FEEL S TEAM EDITION use the 250W 85Nm Shimano EP801 motor and TRP Trail Evo brakes. The 900 S is an 11-speed model with a Shimano Cues CUES Di2 Linkglide rear derailleur, and the 12-speed TEAM EDITION has a Shimano XT Di2.
The e-bikes all use a 630Wh battery with various RockShox suspension forks and rear shocks, with 140 to 160 mm travel. The EXPL 700 S, FEEL 700 S and FEEL 900 S models use Rockrider Grip 500 29 x 2.4-inch tires, while the FEEL S TEAM EDITION has the Grip 900 version. All models have an aluminum frame, available in four sizes, with the EXPL weighing around 58.4 lbs (~26.5 kg) and the FEEL bikes 55.0 lbs (~24.9 lbs).
It remains to be seen precisely when these Decathlon Rockrider e-bikes will arrive in the USA or how much they will cost. As an idea, the E-EXPL 700 S retails for €3,499 (~$3,800), the new E-FEEL 700 S will cost €4,300 (~$4,650), the E-FEEL 900S €4,999 (~$5,400), and the E-FEEL S TEAM EDITION will cost €5,999 (~$6,500). The 2024 models are expected to launch in the EU this spring.
