The Decathlon Rockrider E-EXPL 500 S e-bike is discounted in various EU countries. The electric mountain bike launched last spring alongside the 520 S, designed for riding on rougher terrains and tackling medium inclines like hills or smaller mountains. The model provides good value for money, with the current offer making it even more attractive.
You can now get €200 off the €2,499.99 retail price in France, Italy and Spain, reducing the price to €2,299.99. Customers in the Netherlands can also get a €200 discount, allowing you to purchase the model for €2,309.99 rather than €2,509.99. The e-MTB has a mid-mounted Brose Drive C 50 Nm motor for a top assistance speed of 25 kph (~16 mph). A 500Wh battery allows you to ride for between 20 and 100 km (~12 and 62 miles), depending on the altitude, and there is the option to add a 360Wh extension battery. The full suspension system pairs a SUNTOUR XCM 130mm fork at the front with an X-FUSION O2 PRO 130mm shock at the rear.
Other features of the eight-speed bike include a Microshit Acolyte groupset, 29-inch wheels, and TEKTRO M276 hydraulic disc brakes. The medium-sized model with its 6061 aluminum frame weighs 26.2 kg (~57.8 lbs). The offer is available on the Zinc Gray model in all four sizes, from S to XL, to suit riders from 150 to 200 cm (~4ft 11-in to 6ft 7-in) tall.
