Gigabyte has introduced a refreshed Aero 16 OLED at CES 2023 with Intel Raptor Lake-H and RTX 4070 Laptop GPU options. The company is also resurrecting the Aero 14 OLED. Both devices offer factory-calibrated OLED panels and come with Nvidia Studio drivers for accelerating creative workflows.

Acer has lifted the covers off its new 18-inch gaming laptop, the Predator Helios 18. It features high-end hardware from Intel and Nvidia, a 250 Hz mini LED panel, and a mini LED keyboard. It will be purchasable in EMEA in February and North America in March.

The Acer Nitro 17 gaming laptop is now official with a 17.3-inch IPS panel, up to 32 GB of DDR5 RAM, a 2 TB NVMe SSD, Wi-Fi 6 and Nvidia's new RTX 4000 graphics cards. It will hit shelves in May 2023 starting at US$1,250.

Asus has revamped its ROG Strix G series at CES 2023 with the new ROG Strix G16 and ROG Strix G18. These laptops are powered by Intel's latest Raptor Lake-HX CPUs up to the Core i9-13980HX and up to a 175 W Nvidia RTX 4090 Laptop GPU. These hardware changes are complemented by a revamped Tri-Fan cooling system for improved thermal performance.

Highlights for the 2023 ROG Strix G17 laptops include up to a 16-core / 32-thread AMD Zen4-based mobile processor, mid-range RTX 4000-series mobile dGPUs, and a 17.3-inch screen option with 1440p resolution and 240 Hz refresh rate.

The most outstanding upgrade for this year's Zephyrus Duo 16 laptops is the Mini LED screen with superior black levels, 2560 x 1600 resolution and 240 Hz refresh rate. Asus also refreshed the configurations with AMD's latest Ryzen 7000 mobile processors and Nvidia GPUs up to an RTX 4090 mobile dGPU with 165 W TGP.

Asus has announced three new gaming desktops, the ROG Strix G22CH, G16CH and G13CH. All three are configurable with 13th-gen Intel Raptor Lake processors. Apart from the ROG Strix G13CH, both SKUs support Nvidia's RTX 40 series graphics card. Their prices and availability will be revealed later.

Asus has refreshed the ROG Flow X16 (GV601) with Intel Raptor Lake-H CPUs up to the Core i9-13900H and up to a 135 W Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU. The ROG Flow X16 now features an improved QHD+ mini-LED display option with a 240 Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass DXC coating for added durability and reduced surface reflections for better visibility in bright environments.

Packing a 16-inch QHD 240 Hz Nebula Display that uses a Mini-LED panel with over 1,000 dimming zones, the new Asus ROG Zephyrus G16 sports an Intel Core i9-13900H processor alongside up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 mobile graphics with a MUX Switch and NVIDIA Advanced Optimus. Pricing and availability depend on the market.

Capable of running 25 W higher than last year's model, the updated Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 is built around the Intel Core i9-13900H processor and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 laptop GPU. It features a 16-inch QHD Mini-LED Nebula HDR display and is the first device of its size to use the ROG AniMe Matrix LED lighting array.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 have finally made their way to laptops. Both SKUs are up to 4x faster than their Ampere predecessors while consuming remarkably less power. Gamers can try them out starting on February 8 starting at US$1,999.

Dell has launched the Alienware x16 at CES 2023 with Intel Raptor Lake-H and Nvidia RTX 40 Laptop GPU options up to the RTX 4090. The Alienware x16 embodies the new Legend 3.0 design language and features Dolby Vision displays, an optional CherryMX mechanical keyboard, and vapor chamber cooling for the high-end SKUs with RTX 4080 and RTX 4090.

Nvidia has announced the mobile versions of its Ada Lovelace-based RTX 4000 graphics cards. The GeForce RTX 4070, RTX 4060 and RTX 4050 will supposedly deliver GeForce RTX 3080-class performance while consuming a third of the power. Gaming laptops featuring the GPUs will be available starting February 22 at US$999.

Dell is re-introducing the 18-inch form factor with the Alienware m18. Gigabyte has announced two new high-end gaming laptops, the Aorus 17X and Aorus 15X. Both feature 240 Hz QHD screens, a 13th-generation Intel Alder Lake processor, up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 and a 99 Wh battery.

Dell now lets users configure the Alienware Aurora R15 gaming desktop with AMD's new Zen 4 processors. One can pair it with most Ampere and RDNA 2 graphics cards, but Ada Lovelace SKUs are restricted to the RTX 4090. One can buy it on January 5 starting at US$1,750.

The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti aka GeForce RTX 4080 12 GB has been benchmarked on 3DMark, where it performs on par with the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, but lags behind the Radeon RX 7900 XTX and 7900 XT. Nvidia is said to launch the graphics card at CES 2023.

With a list price of US$2,599, the MSI Raider GE66 12UGS-238 gaming laptop is quite expensive. However, the 24% Amazon discount brings this Intel Core i7-12700H-powered machine below the US$2,000 threshold. It also sports NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti graphics, Thunderbolt 4, 32 GB memory, and 1 TB storage.

A new leak shows the 3DMark Time Spy score of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 mobile. It scores 10,050 points in the benchmark, making it about 20% faster than its predecessor, the GeForce RTX 3060.

Alleged clock and TGP specifications of Nvidia's upcoming Ada RTX 40 Laptop GPU lineup have now surfaced. The purported specs seem to indicate up to 200 W TGP including Dynamic Boost for the RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 Laptop GPUs with boost clocks well above the 2 GHz mark. GPUs from the RTX 4070 onwards can be configured between 115 W and 140 W (+25 W) TGP with the RTX 4060 and RTX 4050 also slated to be available in 85+10 W options.

After a 28% discount, its price is now down to US$2,650 — a noticeable drop from the US$3,699 list price.

Introduced in early 2022, the Asus ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED UX582 comes with a 4K OLED touchscreen and a secondary 14-inch 4K touchscreen, Intel Core i7-12700H processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card, 16 GB LPDDR5, and a 1 TB SSD drive. With a list price of US$2,299.99 on Amazon, this ultralight notebook is now down to US$1,849.99.

Nvidia announced the RTX 4090 and the RTX 4080 on September 20. While both cards have been commended for their stellar performance increases over RTX 30 Ampere GPUs, many have bemoaned Nvidia’s lackluster pricing, especially for the RTX 4080. But it appears RTX 4080’s sky-high price tag hasn’t dissuaded customers from buying the board as the card has become the best-selling GPU on Newegg.

Rumors regarding Nvidia allegedly renaming the RTX 4080 12 GB as the RTX 4070 Ti are piling up. This time, VideoCardz has leaked two PNY GeForce RTX 4070 Ti GPUs that pack exactly the same internal hardware as the cancelled RTX 4080 12 GB.

Nvidia is gearing up to release the RTX 4060 Ti with 4,352 CUDA cores and a 220 W TGP if the newest leak from kopite7kimi is anything to go by. Moreover, the board is reportedly based on an AD106 Lovelace GPU.

Specifications for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 have emerged online. Supposedly offered with the AD104 GPU like the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, the GeForce RTX 4070 will only match the RTX 3070's CUDA core count but will feature the same 12 GB of GDDR6X VRAM as the RTX 4070 Ti.
