After launching the Redmi K50 Gaming Edition with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in China yesterday, Xiaomi already has its sights set on three other models in the series that will arrive with powerful chipsets. The trio could make their debuts as soon as next month.

Qualcomm's upcoming high-end smartphone SoC, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus, is rumoured to use TSMC's 4 nm process node. Its production seems to be commencing in full force, with yields of over 70%. The company is expected to unveil the chipset sometime in Q2, 2022.

Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station says that MediaTek has two new SoCs in store for us, the Dimensity 8000 and Dimensity 8100. The latter is essentially an overclocked version of the former and will be unveiled sometime next month in China.
