A new rumour from South Korea suggests that Microsoft and AMD are developing an Arm processor for laptops. It will use Cortex-X1 CPU cores, an AMD mRDNA2 GPU with 8CUs, and an Exynos 5G modem. The mystery SoC will be fabbed on TSMC's 5nm node.

The OEM Honor has been linked to the launch of its first-gen foldable phone in the past. Now, a Weibo tipster has reiterated these claims, and now also asserts the device in question might make it to launch in the final quarter of 2021. Then again, it now has a rumored product name that differs from that of earlier leaks.

A patent filed by Nintendo has offered up a potential clue as to what a possible Switch successor could offer in terms of features. The patent describes an “information processing method” that would allow owners of a Switch 2 or Switch Pro to appropriately switch from one game to another like Xbox Series X users can with the Quick Resume feature.
