Xiaomi launched the Redmi Band 2 last month in China alongside the Redmi Watch 3. The lightweight, budget wearable was tipped to make the trip over to Europe shortly after, and it appears a launch is now imminent, with marketing materials and pricing now leaking online.
As revealed by Sudhanshu Ambhore, the Redmi Band 2 will arrive in Europe with a price tag of €34.99 (US$38). It's not specified if that will be its regular retail price, or just early-bird pricing, though. For some perspective, the Redmi Band 2 debuted with a CNY 169 MSRP in China, which converts into US$25 or €23. Either way, the Redmi Band 2 will land in Europe as one of the most affordable smart bands from an established brand.
The Redmi Band 2 will feature a 1.47-inch TFT display, with a thickness of 9.99 mm and a 14.9g weight. Features include sleep, Sp02, and heart-rate monitoring, 100+ band faces, 30+ sports modes, 5ATM water resistance, and up to 14 days of battery life. It's currently unknown if the more impressive and pricier Redmi Watch 3 will launch in Europe as well.
