Razer took the wraps off a new Blade 14 with an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX. The machine will come equipped with either an RTX 3060, an RTX 3070 Ti, or an ultra-powerful RTX 3080 Ti. All configurations of the Blade 14 have 16GB of 4800 MHz DDR5 memory.

AMD has shared official benchmark results for the Ryzen 6000 series, focussed mainly on the Ryzen 7 6800U and its Radeon 680M iGPU. Unsurprisingly, AMD has made gains with its Zen 3+ architecture compared to Zen 3. iGPU performance improvements set against the Intel Iris Xe Graphics G7 and NVIDIA GeForce MX450 and look even more impressive, though.

Asus has upgraded its TUF Gaming lineup with new offerings from Intel and AMD. This year, the TUF Dash F15 and TUF Gaming F15 and TUF Gaming F17 get Intel Alder Lake-H and RTX 30 GPUs up to 140 W while the TUF Gaming A15 and TUF Gaming A17 offer up to Ryzen 7 6800H APUs. All TUF Gaming laptops now come with a dedicated MUX switch to channel dGPU output directly to the display.

Lenovo has announced upgraded Legion 5 gaming laptops at CES 2022. These include the Intel Alder Lake-H based Legion 5i and Legion 5i Pro and the AMD Ryzen 6000H-based Legion 5 and Legion 5 Pro. All Legion 5 laptops offer configuration options up to 32 GB DDR5-4800 RAM and the RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU along with high-refresh rate Dolby Vision-certified displays.

The AYA NEO NEXT has been revealed, which will be available in four configurations. The Ryzen 7 5800U-powered machine will launch for at least US$1,265 when it goes up for crowdfunding next month. However, little has changed between existing AYA NEO models and the AYA NEO NEXT.

At CES 2022, AMD showed off its first 3D V-cache enabled chip, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, targeted at gamers with performance that rivals that of the Ryzen 9 5900X and the Core i9-12900K. AMD CEO Lisa Su also offered the first sneak peek at Zen 4 and Socket AM5 that are slated for a 2H 2022 release

HP has taken the wraps off its Elitebook 605 G9 series of business laptops. The Elitebook 645 G9 and the Elitebook 655 G9 come with AMD Ryzen 5000 series mobile processors, up to 64 GB of DDR4 RAM, and up to 1 TB of PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSDs.

HP has announced the HP Elitebook 805 G9 series of business laptops. The notebooks come with AMD's latest Ryzen mobile chips, 16:10 aspect ratio screens, and fast charging. While the smaller Elitebook 835 G9 has fixed memory, the Elitebook 845 G9 and the Elitebook 865 G9 has user-replaceable RAM.

Update | The new ThinkPad Z16 G1 is a huge step for AMD processors in ThinkPads. The 16 inch ThinkPad laptop with the new Z series design is the first premium ThinkPad with a big screen and the powerful AMD Ryzen H series. It is also the first Lenovo ThinkPad in many years with a dedicated AMD GPU.

Update | With the ThinkPad Z series, Lenovo is creating a completely new product line that aims at revamping the design of the business laptop line. The compact Lenovo ThinkPad Z13 includes premium materials, a new touchpad and a better webcam as well as an exclusive AMD Ryzen chip.

Asus has refreshed the ROG Zephyrus G14 with the Ryzen 9 6980HX, Radeon RX 6800S and a 16:10 QHD screen. It also features a MUX switch that switches between the dGPU and iGPU in real time. It will hit shelves in Q1 2022 for EUR 1,899 (US$2,150).

The Acer Nitro 5 gets a dose of new processors from Intel, AMD and new Nvidia graphics cards, along with a new 165Hz QHD screen, which is available in 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch flavours. Prices start at EUR 1,499 (US$1,700), and availability begins in March 2022.

HP has now brought its Victus gaming sub-brand to the desktop with the Victus by HP 15L PC. Victus by HP 15L aims to further enhance mainstream gaming by offering a choice of the latest Intel 12th gen Alder Lake processors or AMD Ryzen 7 5000G APUs along with GeForce RTX 3060 Ti and Radeon RX 6600 XT GPU options.

The affordable HP Omen 25L gaming desktop is configurable with 12th-generation Intel Alder Lake/AMD Ryzen 5000G processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 Ti/AMD Radeon RX 6700XT graphics cards. Its price and availability will be revealed at a later date

AMD has taken the covers off its entry-level offerings, the Radeon RX 6500 XT and Radeon RX 6400. Both graphics cards use a Navi 24 GPU and feature 4GB of GDDR6 video memory. The Radeon 6500 XT will cost US$199 and be purchasable in the United States on January 19.

Dell has retrofitted the Alienware m17 R5 with AMD's newest Ryzen 6980Hx processor, Radeon RX6850MXT graphics card, a 17-inch 4K 120Hz screen and more. It will hit shelves in spring 2022, starting at US$1,599.

HP is introducing a convertible ProBook featuring AMD's new Barcelo-U APUs at CES 2022. The Pro x360 435 G9 is a 13.3-inch convertible that is available with the latest 15 W Ryzen APUs in Pro and non-Pro variants. The Pro x360 435 G9 also integrates HP Wolf Security for Business for easy IT administration in hybrid work environments.

HP is introducing the ProBook 445 G9 and the ProBook 455 G9 as part of its refreshed lineup of business laptops with AMD processors. The new ProBook 405 Series G9 laptops are powered by AMD Barcelo-U 15 W processors and offer a variety of storage and memory configurations along with security features such as HP Wolf Security for Business to simplify remote make IT management.

Leaked product slides have showcased what AMD has up its sleeve for the Ryzen 6000 series of mobile processors. The series will feature RDNA 2 iGPUs and up to 8 CPU cores based on a new 6 nm process. The Zen 3+ architecture will be available across ten H-series and U-series SKUs, including the Ryzen 9 6980HX and the Ryzen 7 6800U.

A substantial leak has revealed specifications for eight upcoming AMD Radeon RX 6000M laptop GPUs. All based on the company's RDNA 2 architecture, the GPUs will range from the RX 6300M to the RX 6850M XT. AMD will also release the RX 6000S series, seemingly an equivalent to NVIDIA's old Max-Q GPUs.

The optional ROG XG Mobile GeForce RTX 3080 isn't included with the sale, but the internal laptop specifications will be more than sufficient especially when compared to 99 percent of other 13-inch alternatives you can buy.

AMD's CES 2022 lineup has leaked thanks to WCCftech. The company will announce refreshes of its Zen3 Ryzen chips. The yet to be announced Zen3+ APUs, codenamed "Rembrandt", include Ryzen 9 6980HX, Ryzen 9 6900HX, and Ryzen 7 6800H all of which feature 8 cores and 16 threads. AMD will also announce the Radeon RX 6850M XT, an RDNA2 GPU for laptops.

North America is finally getting its new 2022 Tesla Model Y and Model 3 batches with upgraded media system processors and new 12V batteries. Tesla is now equipping all new cars with AMD Ryzen chips instead of the older, slower Intel Atoms, and swapping the 12V lead-acid batteries that were prone to failure with new Li-ion packs. Previously, the AMD Ryzen advantage was only given to Tesla cars made in its Chinese factory, but now the goods are coming to America.

The Thinkpad T14 is an icon in the business laptop category, and Lenovo is currently selling an almost maxed-out configuration of this serious work machine for under US$1,000.

The Intel Core i5-1250P is the latest Alder Lake processor to show off its performance chops on Geekbench. The low-power mobile chip was working inside an MSI Prestige 14 A12SC laptop, where the i5-1250P was able to produce benchmark scores that put it on par with previous-generation desktop chips from Intel and AMD.

While almost every other gaming laptop out there holds an Intel CPU, Nvidia GPU, or both, this Asus model is all-in on AMD with a performance target rivaling an 11th gen Intel Tiger Lake-H CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 GPU.

The Intel Core i5-12400F has been spotted on another synthetic benchmark, and once again it appears to be punching higher than its weight. The Alder Lake chip managed a higher single-thread score than rivals such as the Ryzen 5 5600X and Ryzen 9 5900X, and it also pipped the CPU-Z Validator chart single-thread score for the Intel Core i9-11900K.

AYA has started teasing its next device, currently referred to as the AYA NEO NEXT. The AYA NEO NEXT will arrive on December 28 with a newer AMD Ryzen APU than the current AYA NEO family of devices.

The Ryzen 9 5900HS CPU and GeForce RTX 3060 GPU is a combination you're not going to find on 99 percent of other 14-inch laptops out there. The competing Razer Blade 14 costs several hundred dollars more with the same CPU and GPU options.

Students or business users who want something more professional than an IdeaPad without needing to spend an arm or a leg for a "proper" ThinkPad model can consider the Lenovo ThinkBook series instead.

According to sources close to Videocardz, Intel is reportedly working on a pre-binned high-performance variant of the Core i9-12900K. The Core i9-12900KS could hit 5 GHz on all cores, right out of the box. It remains to be seen if this is enough to take on AMD's upcoming 3D V-Cache-refreshed Ryzen parts.

A processor from AMD's upcoming Ryzen chips has reportedly leaked thanks to a notebook making a stop at the BAPCO website. Going by the codename "AMD Eng Sample: 100-000000560-40_Y", the processor appears to have 8 cores and 16 threads. It was paired with a 4800 MHz memory, giving rise to speculation that the processor was DDR5 capable.

We already know that the latest Ryzen 7 U-series CPUs can outperform the latest 11th gen Core i7 U-series CPUs in many instances, but the differences are skewed even further in AMD's favor when moving down to the Ryzen 3 vs. Core i3 budget category.

The AMD Ryzen 7 5700U can easily outperform any 11th gen Intel Core U-series CPU when it comes to multi-thread performance. The fact that it can be found on a relatively mid-range Lenovo convertible like the Flex 5 14 makes it surprisingly affordable.

Price-conscious gamers beware: The Medion Erazer Deputy P25 MD64015 has been available for purchase in Germany at Aldi for 1,249 Euros (~$1,410) since December 9. Gigabyte has confirmed that it will be launching BRIX Extreme mini-PCs soon, likely in early 2022. Up to an AMD Ryzen 7 5700U APU will be available, complemented by a host of ports and dual-channel SO-DIMM RAM.

Lenovo accidentally listed the AMD RX 6500 XT as a discrete GPU option for its Legion T5 prebuilt gaming PCs. According to the Lenovo document, the RX 6500 XT will feature 4GB of GDDR6, in line with previous leaks.

AMD's next generation of EPYC processors, currently referred to as "Genoa", are tipped to support 12-channel memory. Now, it is also slated to support 1TB of DDR5 RAM via each of these channels, for a grand total of 12TB. Then again, it may be capable of doing so under certain server-grade conditions only.

The 16 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM and 512 GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD are both easily upgradeable. For Thunderbolt 4, however, you'll have to consider the pricier Intel version.

Thanks to a strong Alder Lake launch, Intel's market share in terms of CPUs sold has climbed to around 30 percent, its highest ever for the year 2021. AMD still maintains a commanding lead, however, thanks to strong demand for midrange price-performance champs like the Ryzen 5 5600X.

MSI still intends to release the MAG Trident S, nearly a year after its announcement. The 2-litre desktop PC has been upgraded from a Ryzen 7 4700G to the newer Ryzen 7 5700G, but its release is still a way off.

The current mobile RDNA2 GPU variants do not seem to get quite enough supplies to threaten Nvidia's position, but AMD could solve the supply problem with the alleged 6 nm refreshes expected to launch in early 2022. Rumored to be produced on the TSMC N6 nodes, the RX 6000S models should come with increased energy efficiency and higher core clocks.

Gigabyte has filed a listing with the EEC, confirming many different variants of its upcoming RTX 3080 12 GB and RTX 3070 Ti 16 GB GPUs. There are ten SKUs of the new RTX 3080 and six of the still unannounced RTX 3070 Ti.

Gigabyte has submitted RX 6500 XT SKUs with the EEC. The listings confirm that Gigabyte will be one of AMD's partners to sell RX 6500 XT custom cards, and that the RX 6500 XT has 4 GB of GDDR6 VRAM.
