Two performance cores for 15-Watt CPUs. Intel’s Alder Lake-U chips in the 15W segment are primarily designed for thin and light laptops. However, there can be massive performance differences depending on the implementation and it does not always make sense for the manufacturers to use U-series CPUs, either.

Well cooled: Even for a workstation with a 16-inch screen, the Asus ExpertBook B6 Flip is quite big and heavy. But an efficient cooling system inside the convertible easily dissipates the 140 watts of waste heat generated by the Intel Core i9-12950HX and Nvidia RTX A2000.

Alder Lake and RTX A2000. With the ZBook Power 15, HP offers a mobile workstation in the entry-level segment. In addition to the current Alder Lake CPUs, professional GPUs from Nvidia are also used, but only chips up to the RTX A2000.

Alder Lake with great stamina. Acer tries to go sustainable with the Aspire Vero: the stylish blue chassis of the 14-inch laptop is partially made of recycled plastic. In addition, the laptop offers great performance, Thunderbolt 4 support and excellent battery life.

The GeForce RTX 3050 Ti is not aging well. The Victus 15 is supposed to be a wallet-friendly alternative to the Omen series, but it walks a fine line with its hefty retail price of US$1200 for an entry-level GPU that performs almost identically to the two-year old GTX 1660 Ti.

Core i5-1235U showcases its potential The latest ThinkPad T14s G3 has finally received a 16:10 display, a surprisingly powerful Intel Alder Lake-U CPU and faster LPDDR5 RAM as part of a redesign by Lenovo. Furthermore, the 14-inch business-oriented ThinkPad showed modest power consumption and very low emissions during our testing. In this review, we’ll discuss whether all these qualities are enough for the ThinkPad T14s G3 to prevail against AMD-based laptops or Lenovo’s own ThinkPad X1 Carbon G10.

REACT team assemble. The MSI Crosshair 15 Rainbow Six: Extraction Edition sports a vibrant design that caters to fans of Ubisoft's popular co-op shooter. Under the hood, we get an Intel Alder Lake-H Core i7-12700H and Nvidia RTX 3070 Laptop GPU that together take on some of the more expensive competition on the market.
