MSI Cubi 5 12M now selling from US$449 with choice of Intel Alder Lake-U series processors
Retailers are now selling the Cubi 5 12M, less than two weeks after MSI unveiled the mini-PC. Announced during CES 2023, the Cubi 5 12M comes in multiple variants and three processors, all Intel Alder Lake-U series parts. Specifically, MSI has made the Cubi 5 12M available with the following processors:
- Intel Core i3-1215U
- Intel Core i5-1235U
- Intel Core i7-1255U
Seemingly, MSI will offer the Cubi 5 12M in five configurations initially, starting with a barebones Core i5-1235U unit. All units contain SO-DIMM slots for DDR4 RAM, 2.5-inch and M.2 bays for SSDs within 124 x 124 x 53.7 mm chassis. Additionally, MSI equips the Cubi 5 12M with three USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, along with single 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, 3.5 mm audio, DisplayPort, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI and Thunderbolt 4 connections.
According to B&H, the Cubi 5 12M starts at US$449 and rises to US$549 with the Core i3-1215U, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Alternatively, the retailer offers the Core i5-1235U, 8 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD for US$679, the same SKU with 'Advanced Replacement' or a Core i7-1255U, 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage variant for US$929.
