A new entry in the SER6 series has arrived, with Beelink presenting the SER6 and SER6 Pro in November. This time, Beelink has released the SER6 Pro Plus. However, while the SER6 Pro Plus is orderable from MiniXPC, Beelink has not listed the mini-PC on its website yet. Additionally, the SER6 Pro Plus may prove less powerful than the SER6 Pro, despite what its name may suggest.
Instead, Beelink has opted for the Ryzen 7 7735HS, essential a Ryzen 7 6800HS with a 50 MHz higher boost clock. As such, the SER6 Pro Plus has a 35 W TDP, 10 W lower than the SER6 Pro. Moreover, the Ryzen 7 7735HS has eight Zen3+ CPU cores, a 4.75 GHz boost clock and a Radeon 680M clocked at 2.2 GHz. Minixpc notes that Beelink encountered overheating issues with the Ryzen 7 6800H in the SER6 Pro, which would explain the adoption of the Ryzen 7 7735HS. Incidentally, MINISFORUM did the same last month with the Venus UM773.
At the time of writing, MiniXPC is offering the SER6 Pro Plus for US$499 as a barebones unit, a US$100 discount on its US$599 MSRP. Alternatively, the SER6 Pro Plus can be configured with 32 GB of RAM and a 500 GB SSD for US$649. For reference, this price is just a US$40 reduction from its US$689 MSRP. All pre-orders should start shipping at the end of this month.
