An unknown AMD Ryzen 6000 series processor, likely the Ryzen 3 6400 or Ryzen 3 6300, has been benchmarked on Geekbench. In the CPU benchmark, it scored 1,321 and 4,261 in the single and multi-core tests. Its RDNA2 iGPU pushed its OpenCL benchmark score to 13,755.

As we move closer to the launch of Intel’s 13th gen “Raptor Lake” and AMD Zen 4 “Raphael” CPUs, new leaks keep on surfacing. This time leaker Tom of Moore’s Law is Dead has divulged some important details about the release date of Intel Raptor Lake and AMD Zen 4.

The AMD Ryzen 5 6600H processor has finally made its way onto PassMark where it has produced synthetic benchmark results that put it into close-quarter confrontation with the Intel Core i5-12600H. However, while the Alder Lake part has to make do with Iris XE Graphics (80 EUs), the Rembrandt chip can boast of having an RDNA2-powered Radeon 660M iGPU.

The Ryzen 6000-powered Legion 5 Pro has landed on Lenovo's US website for the first time. As if to mark this event, the OEM has announced an inaugural Legion Tower 5i giveaway for its Community website. It has a Tiger Lake processor with 12GB of RTX 3060 graphics.

AMD is reportedly going to launch the Ryzen 7000 “Raphael” CPUs in September. Per the company, Zen 4 will bring a substantial performance increase over Zen 3. An AMD Raphael engineering sample, possibly the Ryzen 5 7600X, has been spotted on Basemark and it is speedy enough to beat the Ryzen 9 5950X.

The HP ProBook 445 G8 is a budget office laptop with many strengths, such as the performance it delivers thanks to AMD's Zen 3. The battery life and emissions also benefit enormously from this.

Another Zen 3+ part has hit the PassMark benchmark website in the form of the AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 6850H, which is basically the professional/business equivalent of the Ryzen 7 6800H. The Rembrandt-class Ryzen 7 PRO 6850H held up well against the Intel Core i7-12800H rival, with single-thread and multi-test scores resulting in shared spoils.

The AMD Ryzen 7 6800U has finally turned up on the PassMark CPU testing site, and it has made a very promising first showing. The Zen 3+ “Rembrandt” APU with the handy RDNA2-based Radeon 680M iGPU managed to outscore fellow low-power rivals such as the Intel Core i7-1260P and Apple M2 in the site’s average CPU Mark results.

Lenovo has unveiled some new discounts for its Prime Day 2022 event. They include a number of Legion laptops with platforms ranging from those of the nearly-new Ryzen 5 or 7 to 12th-gen Alder Lake series. Most also have RTX 3000-series graphics, as well as a minimum of 8GB of RAM.

The latest KDE models from Slimbook ditch the Ryzen 7 4800H processors for the more efficient 5700U ones, which support up to 64 GB of RAM and up to 4 TB of SSD storage. Prices start at just under €1,000.

MSI has released a beta BIOS update that aims to get extra performance out of the Ryzen 7 5800X3D. The BIOS update brings two new features, a "Kombo Strike" utility and a "Core Offset Voltage" option, on supported motherboards. The update hopes to make AMD's already-great gaming CPU even better.

Considering its currently discounted sale price, the Dell G15 with an AMD Ryzen 7 and RTX 3050 Ti certainly provides a lot of value at a quite affordable price.

Competition on the Chinese handheld console market is getting fierce as yet another maker presents its large-screen model. AOKZOE's console is powered by a Ryzen 7 6800U with Radeon 680M iGPU and it looks to handle popular games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Forza Horizon 5 quite well even at high video presets running in 1920 x 1200.

Highlights for the new Embedded R2000 series include up to 4 Zen+ cores with 8 threads, support for dual-channel DDR4-3200 and 16 PCIe Gen 3 lanes, and up to an 8 CU iGPU that can easily handle 4x 4K video outputs.

New AMD Ryzen 7000 leaks have detailed the potential launch line-up for the upcoming Zen 4 desktop parts, a possible release date, and even a supposed price tag for the top-end Ryzen 9 7950X. It seems there won’t be an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X at launch time, with the series arguably emulating the Zen 3 Ryzen 5000 staggered release schedule.

An AMD Ryzen 3 7320U, which in all probability is the new Mendocino APU announced at Computex 2022, has surfaced on UserBenchmark. The Ryzen 3 7320U features an RDNA 2-based iGPU with two CUs. The preliminary UserBenchmark score seems to indicate improved multi-core performance with the 6 nm Zen 2 cores when compared with an average Ryzen 3 5300U.

Dell has unveiled its new Precision 7865 Tower that packs enough power to satisfy creators, engineers, and future imperial senate dissolvers anywhere. The Dell Precision 7865 Tower features AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 5000WX processors and can provide up to 56 TB storage, more than enough for containing complex workloads and Death Star blueprints.

The new Dev One is a budget-oriented solution running on the Linux-based Pop!_OS developed by System76. It is powered by AMD's Ryzen 7 Pro 5850U APU with Vega 8 iGPU, and comes with one (upgradable) configuration featuring 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB NVMe SSD. The 1080p 14-inch screen is HDR-ready with 1,000 nit brightness.

The Lenovo ThinkPad Z13 gets an exclusive processor from AMD: The AMD Ryzen Pro 7 6860Z. This CPU of the U series with a TDP of 15 W is a modified version of the octacore Ryzen Pro 6850U. Alongside the detailed specifications of the Lenovo ThinkPad Z13, Lenovo has released the first specs of the processor with the "Z" suffix for the first time.

Hallock explains that the flagship Ryzen 7000 processors will have a maximum TDP of 170 W, and the 16 cores will easily hit 5.5 GHz. RAM should also see considerable overclocking headroom, while expected performance uplift over Zen 3 is expected to be around 40%. Some AVX 512 AI instruction sets are also supported and the RDNA2 iGPU is clearly not on the same level as the Radeon 680M from the Rembrandt APUs.

A Ryzen 9-6900HX APU and GeForce RTX 3080-Ti Laptop GPU bring all the current games smoothly to the contrast-rich 4k display (16:10, IPS, 100% DCI-P3, FreeSync). They are accompanied by 4 TB of storage (RAID 0), 64 GB of working memory, and a surprisingly good battery life.

The AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX APU with the RDNA2-based Radeon 680M iGPU has finally appeared on PassMark, despite being announced way back in January. The Zen 3+ chip managed higher single-thread and multi-test scores than the fastest Zen 3 counterpart, the Ryzen 9 5980HX. The Ryzen 9 6900HX also outmuscled the Intel Core i7-12800H in overall CPU Mark.

MSI has introduced a new lineup of X670 and X670E motherboards for the AMD Ryzen 7000 AM5 platform. Today, the company is taking wraps off the MEG X670E Ace, the MPG X670E Carbon Wi-Fi, and the Pro X670-P Wi-Fi with more models to expected be revealed this Fall.

AMD officially announced Zen 4 Ryzen 7000 CPUs and the AM5 platform at Computex 2022. Ryzen 7000 features 5 nm Zen 4 chiplets and a 6 nm I/O die that will include an RDNA 2 iGPU along with PCIe Gen 5 and DDR5 controllers. Ryzen 7000 will also feature 2x the L2 cache as Zen 3 and is purported to offer a 15% uplift in single-core performance over Zen 3.

Apropos to AMD's official unveiling of Ryzen 7000 AM5 platform, Asus launched its first X670E motherboard: the ROG Crosshair X670E Extreme. The X670E Extreme offers a complete PCIe Gen 5 solution and features 20+2 phase VRMs and other flagship components for enthusiast overclocking and ease of installation and upgrades.

AMD announced the arrival of desktop Ryzen 7000 processors based on the Zen 4 architecture at Computex 2022. Ryzen 7000 is supported by new X670E/X670, B650, and A620 chipsets. The X670 series is daisy-chained to maximize I/O. It is being learnt that the low-end A620 chipset will launch alongside upcoming Rembrandt APUs later this year.

A noted leaker has offered their take on the potential clock rates for key SKUs in the upcoming AMD Ryzen 7000 “Raphael” series. The commenter has been quite optimistic with some of the clock rate estimates, with the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X potentially offering a higher boost rate than Alder Lake’s i9-12900KS Turbo Max 3.0 speed of 5.3 GHz.

Acer has upgraded the TravelMate lineup of business laptops with the latest Intel 12th gen vPro and AMD Ryzen 6000 Pro processors. The TravelMate P2 is available in 14-inch and 15.6-inch versions while the TravelMate P4 and TravelMate Spin P4 come in 14-inch and 16-inch variants. All TravelMate models are Microsoft Secured-core PCs built with a focus on security and durability while using sustainable construction and packaging materials.

The new Neptune series is advertised as the world's first mini PC lineup with AMD RDNA2 dGPUs. MINISFORUM is planning to first release a Ryzen 9 5900HX + Radeon RX 6650M model, followed by Ryzen 9 6900HX and Intel Alder Lake variants with the same dGPU.

The high-end X670 Extreme chipset is supposed to be featured on the most expensive AM5 motherboards, and AMD is apparently forcing PCIe 5.0-only support for GPU and storage on these models. The X670 models, on the other hand, could feature either PCie 4.0 or PCIe 5.0, while the budget B650 solutions would be limited to PCIe 4.0.

HP is offering an upgraded Envy x360 15.6-inch convertible in both Intel Alder Lake-P and AMD Barcelo-U options. The Intel variant offers a few extra goodies like optional QHD 120 Hz display and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity while the AMD variant makes do with up to an FHD OLED option. HP says that it has focused on collaborative features such as a 5 MP webcam and the HP Palette suite.

We tried out the Asus Zenbook 14 Flip OLED and we were not only thrilled by the performance, but also by the excellent OLED panel, which is equipped with 90 Hz and 3K resolution. But what other advantages and disadvantages does the convertible conceal?

A supposed AMD Ryzen 7000 “Raphael” price list has surfaced on Weibo, which also offers some scant details about the SKU designations and even core/thread count for the top-end part. Apparently, the Ryzen 9 7950X will have 24 cores, cost well over the equivalent of US$900, and it will be ready to bring Zen 4 power to Intel Raptor Lake’s doorstep.

US$299 gets you a Ryzen 5 3550H with Vega 8 iGPU plus 256 GB of SSD storage, but no RAM. For US100 more you can also get 16 GB of RAM and up the storage to 512 GB, however. Manjaro Linux is also streamlined to work on budget solutions.

HP is now offering an upgraded Victus 15 in both Intel Alder Lake-H and AMD Ryzen 5000H flavors. The Intel variant features an Nvidia RTX 3050 Ti Laptop GPU while the AMD version offers an RX 6500M. Both models offer full-sized keyboards, Omen Gaming Hub, and improved thermals.

The Intel Core i9-12900HX has seemingly been promoted in UserBenchmark’s average bench chart thanks to the dismissal of the result of an underperforming sample. Previously, two i9-12900HX sample runs left the chip languishing behind several AMD rivals, but the removal of the poor result has left the Alder Lake mobile part in a loftier position.

Schenker has refreshed the Apex 15 laptop of early 2020 with updated processors and a high-refresh-rate screen. This new 15 MAX variant is also touted as a desktop replacement, thanks to platforms that top out at the Ryzen 9 5950X. It is available to order from now.

Lenovo launched the 7th generation of the Legion 7 series in Legion 7i powered by Alder Lake-HX and Legion 7 powered by Ryzen 6000 HX flavors. The Legion 7 and 7i now boast of a number of firsts in the 16-inch gaming laptop category along with upgrades to memory, storage, and Wi-Fi connectivity.

This year's Legion Slim 7 is the first all-AMD system of the series. It features the newly released Ryzen 6000H/X processors coupled with the Radeon RX 6000S dGPUs and up to 24 GB of DDR5-4800 RAM. There is also a USB4 port, a 16-inch Mini-LED IPS screen option and another with 240 Hz refresh rate.
