The Ryzen 6000-powered Legion 5 Pro has landed on Lenovo's US website for the first time. As if to mark this event, the OEM has announced an inaugural Legion Tower 5i giveaway for its Community website. It has a Tiger Lake processor with 12GB of RTX 3060 graphics.

The AMD Ryzen 7 6800H-powered version of the 7th-gen Legion 5 Pro is now available via Lenovo's official US webstore. The updated gaming laptop has been released to the site with 16GB in "front-of-pack" DDR5-4800 RAM and a 16-inch 165Hz WQXGA display, driven by either 6GB of RTX 3060 graphics or an 8GB RTX 3070 card.

The former option is normally priced at US$2,000, although it has a $400 discount as an introductory offer, whereas the latter is $2,220.

Strangely, that top-end variant has a 1TB PCIe SSD, whereas the cheaper model's deal in sweetened with one of 2TB in capacity. The OEM offers free shipping for the new gaming laptop, to start on July 25, 2022.

Meanwhile, Lenovo seems to be eager to further whet gamer appetites by offering the Legion Tower 5i as the prize in the the brand's latest Community giveaway.

It is a 16GB RAM, RGB-rich desktop powered by the Core i7-11700 processor. The Gleam-powered competition is exclusive to US-based entrants and runs until August 5, 2022.

(Alternatively, grab a last-gen Legion 5 Pro (AMD) with 32GB of RAM for US$1,150 on Amazon today.)
