Close to octa-core performance! A compact laptop with an AMD Ryzen 4000 and two RAM slots sounds great. If you combine this with good input devices and business features, it sounds even better. It's just a pity that the HP EliteBook 835 G7 has a below-average display.

Business all-rounder with plenty of power. The ThinkPad T14 is the entry-level model for Lenovo's expensive ThinkPad T-series and customers can choose between Intel and AMD models. The Ryzen APUs have an advantage in terms of performance, but what about the efficiency and the features?

Competitor from our own warehouse. We have already tested the ThinkPad E14 with Intel Core i5-10210U and integrated UHD Graphics, now the variant with a stronger Core i7 and dedicated Radeon RX 640 follows. However, the second generation of the ThinkPad E14 has already been released, initially only with a Ryzen 5 processor. The E14 Gen 2 with Intel Tiger Lake will follow later.

AMD upgrade. Lenovo's ThinkPad L series includes inexpensive business laptops that have been able to convince in the past with good input devices and quite high-quality workmanship. The current 15-inch model in the series seeks to carry on this tradition while dramatically improving system performance with the new AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 4750 at the same time. We will clarify in the following review whether the final concept works.

5K, Core i9 & Radeon RX 5700 XT. In addition to several hardware upgrades, Apple's all-in-one system is also available with a matte display for the first time. But is it really worth the additional price and how do the other components perform?

Ryzen Office. HP's 17.3-inch model is a simple office notebook with a Ryzen 5-3500U APU, 16GB memory (dual-channel mode), NVMe SSD and a matte IPS screen. In addition, an optical drive is on board. With a price of just under 800 Euros (~$934), the computer is not a bargain.

Take that, Intel! AMD's Ryzen 5000 series was introduced on October 8, 2020, but were not yet available until today. Price-performance champion. With the MagicBook Pro, Honor offers a well-equipped multimedia laptop with the latest Ryzen processor and a large 16.1-inch display. In our test, the device is almost completely convincing, and in many areas, it can also keep up with significantly more expensive competitors.
