Deal | Lenovo Yoga 6 13 2-in-1 convertible with AMD Ryzen 5 Pro, 256 GB NVMe SSD, and 8 GB of RAM is down to $550 USD
Lenovo Yoga laptops represent the slimmest and sleekest that the company has to offer in comparison to the more budget-oriented IdeaPad laptops. As of this writing, Best Buy has the 13.3-inch Yoga 6 convertible on sale for $150 off the original $700 USD asking price.
What makes this deal notable is that the laptop is one of the few to come with the Ryzen 5 PRO 4650U CPU instead of the usual Ryzen 5 4600U. The AMD PRO series is comparable to the Intel vPro series in terms of integrated IT features designed for businesses. Raw processor performance is slightly slower than the Ryzen 5 4600U as a result of the security overhead, but that doesn't mean home office users or students can't take advantage of the deal as well especially since the Ryzen 5 series is neck-to-neck with pricier Intel 10th gen Core i7 laptops.
The biggest drawbacks to the laptop are the scant 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Though the latter is upgradeable, the former is unfortunately fixed for the life of the product. We also don't expect very accurate colors as users will have to spend more on the Yoga 7 series for such features. Owners will have to rely on USB-C adapters as there is no integrated HDMI port.
We have yet to review the Lenovo Yoga 6 and so we cannot offer our personal take on the system and its features.
