The Surface Laptop series will gain Intel Tiger Lake and AMD Ryzen Renoir 'Surface Edition' processors starting at €1,149 for the Ryzen 5 4680U edition. Ultimately though, Microsoft is trying to steer people onto the more expensive 15-inch configurations, rather than the cheaper and more compact 13.5-inch configurations.

Dell has launched two new G15 gaming laptops, both starting at US$899.99. The G15 Ryzen Edition (5515) comes with newer processors though, but both it and the G15 5510 have the 115 W variant of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060.

Dell has launched four new gaming monitors to complement its Ryzen-powered line of gaming laptops. There four SKUs in total with screen sizes ranging between 24 and 34 inches. The monitors will be available for purchase towards the end of May 2021.

A new CPU Mark single-thread performance chart for desktop processors has been published by PassMark, and once again it features some startling results. It appears the Apple M1 silicon, which is a hybrid chip, is rapidly closing in on the powerful Intel Core i9-11900K desktop processor in this particular benchmark.
