Seeing blue. The budget PCIe x4 NVMe SSD offers sequential read rates of up to 2400 MB/s across all capacities. Write rates will vary depending on capacity while read/write performance during very small block sizes could be better.

While the Lenovo IdeaPad S540 does not take any new steps when it comes to the design, it is equipped with the AMD Ryzen 5 3550H, which is supposed to offer better long-term performance. A clever move. Honor smartphones originally were profitable sprouts of some Huawei models that were not much older. At least, this was the case before the subsidiary began to strengthen its own identity and move ahead, as for example when it was first to introduce a the 48-MP camera in the Honor V20. In order to avoid abandoning the market to the competitor completely, the Intel Core i9-9900K has now been updated as the 9900KS. Intel advertises a stable 5 GHz on all cores in Turbo under load. We evaluate in detail whether this is also true in practical operation, since AMD had some problems with its Ryzen 3000 series to achieve the specified clock speeds in some cases.

Spectre and XPS contender. After making several Yoga C900 subnotebooks for years, Lenovo is ready to expand the lineup to include larger 15.6-inch sizes. The Yoga C940-15 sacrifices little in terms of performance and chassis quality especially for a convertible.

Asus has made some significant improvements to the ROG phone, which first appeared on the scene in 2018: Instead of 90 Hz, we now have 120, instead of 8 GB of RAM, there is now 12, and there is, of course, a brand-new SoC on board. We had a chance to play a few games on it, and when it came time to give it back, we did so rather reluctantly. However, if you plan on using it for anything other than gaming such as making phone calls, surfing the web, emailing etc., then its weight of 240 g might prove to be not very easy to overlook.
