If you would like to imagine how a Galaxy Z Flip paired with iOS could look, then you should have a look here. While a foldable iPhone is probably a long way off yet, an iPhone Flip, or an iPhone 12 Flip, is already a reality. Digitally at least, anyway.

The YouTuber JerryRigEverything (or Zach Nelson) has conducted his traditional post-durability test teardown of the Motorola Razr 2020. This video revealed how its maker intends to keep the internals free of dust, as well as other possible destructive forces. This means it has some unusual attributes that the equally foldable Galaxy Z Flip lacks.

Samsung's second-generation foldable phone was launched along with claims that the OEM had made some strides in keeping this form-factor clear of potentially destructive dust and debris. A new video by teardown specialists iFixit may have called this marketing into question with a colorful experiment.

While durability tests do not show any indications of the display being made of glass, a closer examination does confirm the company's claims of using ultra-thin glass under a protective plastic layer. However, Samsung's marketing gives the impression that the Galaxy Z Flip's glass display is as reliable and scratch-proof as any other smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip's default keyboard seems to have a bug that automatically lowercases any letter typed in uppercase and this behavior is persistent even after fiddling around with the settings. It is not a big deal-breaker though, as users can still install third-party keyboards such as Gboard or SwiftKey.

Intel's Lakefield chips are smaller than the usual CPUs, as they stack most components in order to reduce size and improve energy efficiency, much like smartphone SoCs nowadays.
