Battle of the Giants. A few weeks after AMD launched their flagship HD 7970M, Nvidia took the spotlight with the reveal of the GTX 680M. The GeForce GPU is said to outperform the Radeon HD 7970M in nearly all aspects: performance, features, and energy efficiency. We compare the two graphics solutions to find out who takes the mobile graphics crown.

Ultrabook update. We reviewed the Samsung Series 5 530U3B-A01DE in mid-March 2012. The ultrabook has now been revised to feature an Intel Ivy Bridge dual-core processor. Virtually everything else, including the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of 799 Euro ($999 USD), remains unchanged. In this review, we will examine exactly what has changed and who would benefit from the revision.

Affordable Ultrabook. Lenovo updates their sleek IdeaPad U300/U400 Ultrabook lineup with new Ivy Bridge-equipped IdeaPad U310/U410 models to take on the rest of 2012. Do the upgrades go beyond just the CPU and GPU changes?

Not a good buy. According to HP's German website, the Pavilion g7-2051sg is "simple and appealing". The desktop replacement based on AMD's Trinity platform is simple, that we can confirm. Appealing? Only to an extent.

Little progress. The Galaxy Tab 2 series represents Samsung’s revision to its successful Galaxy Tab family and features models in 7.0 and 10.1 inch sizes based on Android 4.0. Upon review, we found that the revamped devices cannot compete with other current tablets.

Chronos optimized. Samsungs 17-inch Chronos wants to eliminate the weaknesses of it's 15.6-inch brother by improving more than just the display. Big surprise: Crystal clear sound using a subwoofer.
