Chrome for iPad and iPhone Released

Teaser
Announced at day two of Google I/O 2012 comes Google's Chrome web browser for the iPhone and iPad.

It's been a long-time coming, right? Earlier today at day two of Google I/O 2012, Google announced the release of Chrome for iOS, available right now for free in the iTunes App Store. While its web rendering engine is the same as in MobileSafari, it essentially allows users to sync everything from their desktop over to their mobile device, including bookmarks, opened tabs, login information, and more.

The iOS version of Chrome also brings a familiar interface to the application, looking much like the desktop and Android version of the web browser. The same goes for its overall functionality.

Ready to start using it? Click here to go to its iTunes App Store page. It's a free, universal application that weighs in at 12.8MB.
