Verdict - Business laptop with rare features
The Schenker Connect 15 stands out primarily because of its excellent feature set, making it particularly appealing for business environments. A SmartCard reader, replaceable battery, fast Wi-Fi 7, Ethernet, and optional LTE connectivity are features that remain uncommon in this segment.
The laptop prioritizes quiet operation and power efficiency under load, making it well suited for office use. In its default Balanced mode, performance is intentionally conservative, which is perfectly adequate for everyday productivity. Users needing additional horsepower can switch to Performance mode, where CPU performance reaches a competitive level. The display is bright but otherwise just office standard.
GPU performance, however, is well below average, making the Connect 15 a poor choice for AI workloads or 3D applications. Schenker could also further reduce idle power consumption for maximum efficiency, while battery life no longer feels particularly competitive compared to the latest ARM-based rivals.
We also found the keyboard slightly too soft during typing, and compared to many competitors, the Connect is both heavier and thicker.
Overall, this is a very well-equipped office laptop with clear enterprise ambitions.

Specifications - Wi-Fi 7, Thunderbolt 4, Ethernet, and LT
Chassis & features - Simple design with excellent connectivity
Finished in black with only a subtle logo, the plastic chassis has a clean and understated appearance. The display produces slight creaking when twisted, while the base flexes with some minor cracking noises. Panel gaps, however, are consistent throughout. At nearly 1.9 kg, the Connect is not particularly lightweight, and many competing 15-inch laptops are also noticeably thinner.
A dedicated maintenance hatch on the bottom provides access to the LTE SIM module, and the battery can be replaced without fully disassembling the system. Accessing the internal components beyond that requires removing 13 screws.
Connectivity is one of the laptop's strongest points, featuring an integrated SmartCard reader, optional LTE, and Wi-Fi 7. One of the three USB ports also supports Thunderbolt 4 with up to 40 Gbps, and a microSD card reader is included as well.
The Full HD webcam is less impressive, with washed-out colors, relatively high color deviations, a somewhat dark image, and limited detail.
During testing, we noticed that the power connector can occasionally become partially disconnected too easily. This isn't visible from the outside, but the laptop immediately switches to battery power when it happens.
The keyboard features a classic, uncluttered layout with a dedicated number pad and full-size arrow keys. Typing is comfortable despite the relatively short key travel, although the feedback feels somewhat soft and could be more tactile.
The touchpad measures approximately 12 x 7.2 cm and offers smooth gliding characteristics. A fingerprint reader is integrated into the upper-left corner.

Display - 400 nits for everyday office use
The matte 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display covers "only" 90% of the sRGB color space and operates at 60 Hz, but delivers a respectable 400 nits of brightness. Response times are relatively slow, which is typical for an office-oriented panel.

Performance - Built for productivity, not peak performance
At a time when memory prices remain high, Schenker equips the Connect 15 with 32 GB of RAM as standard. Combined with an efficient mid-range processor featuring Intel vPro Essentials management capabilities, the result is a dependable office workhorse. Features like the SmartCard reader further increase its appeal for enterprise customers.

Processor
The Intel Core 5 120U is an efficient processor with a 15 W PL1 rating, featuring 10 cores (2 Performance cores, 8 Efficient cores, 12 threads) and clock speeds ranging from 0.9 GHz to 5 GHz.
CPU performance falls slightly below the segment average, with the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i delivering noticeably higher performance using the same processor. However, enabling Performance mode completely eliminates this difference.
CPU performance does not decrease further when running on battery power.

System Performance
Once again, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3i is faster, although this gap largely disappears in Performance mode. Memory performance is quite strong.
In everyday use, the system feels smooth while plugged in, although occasional slowdowns can be noticed when operating on battery.

Emissions & power consumption - Quiet cooling, but only 6.6 hours of battery life
Noise emissions
At idle, the single cooling fan is often—but not always—turned off. When active, it quietly hums at around 24 dB.
Under load, fan noise reaches just 33 dB, making it quieter than many competing systems. In Cyberpunk running in Performance mode, we measured 39 dB.

Temperatures
The hottest area is located on the underside of the chassis. During gaming and stress testing, we recorded temperatures of up to 50°C near the center below the display hinge, while the rest of the laptop remained noticeably cooler. Due to the single-fan design, the right side becomes warmer than the left.
(±) The maximum temperature on the upper side is 40 °C / 104 F, compared to the average of 34.3 °C / 94 F, ranging from 21.2 to 62.5 °C for the class Office.
(-) The bottom heats up to a maximum of 50 °C / 122 F, compared to the average of 36.8 °C / 98 F
(+) In idle usage, the average temperature for the upper side is 28 °C / 82 F, compared to the device average of 29.5 °C / 85 F.
(±) 3: The average temperature for the upper side is 33.6 °C / 92 F, compared to the average of 29.5 °C / 85 F for the class Office.
(+) The palmrests and touchpad are cooler than skin temperature with a maximum of 28 °C / 82.4 F and are therefore cool to the touch.
(±) The average temperature of the palmrest area of similar devices was 27.5 °C / 81.5 F (-0.5 °C / -0.9 F).

Power consumption
Under load, the Connect 15 is quite efficient, surpassed only by the Asus ExpertBook B1, which is also slightly faster. The compact 45 W power adapter operates close to its limits under extreme conditions. Very short power spikes of up to 52 W are not problematic, but Cyberpunk in Performance mode maintains a continuous power draw exceeding 47 W.
Idle power consumption could still be optimized further.
