Back to the roots. With Mirage, Assassin’s Creed is striving to turn the focus back to its original core elements (e.g. stealth). We are especially interested in checking out how graphically demanding the latest instalment in the series is.

A job well done. The gaming laptop from XMG benefits from moderate noise emissions, comparatively low power consumption and still high performance levels (Ryzen 7 7840HS, GeForce RTX 4050). Completing the setup are good runtimes and a decent price (from around US$1,170).

Core gaming business. Schenker's Core 16 (Tongfang GM6XG7X) is a great gaming laptop that needn't hide from any of its upper mid-range rivals thanks to its AMD Ryzen 7 and RTX 4070 (or RTX 4060) and a whole range of other great features such as an optional mechanical keyboard.

Evolution instead of revolution. Samsung has only carefully redesigned the Galaxy Tab S9 5G compared to its predecessor. New features include the most powerful Snapdragon on the market and a switch to OLED technology for the display. The Tab S9 still comes with an S-Pen and can handle both work and play. How does it compare to the tablet elite?

Raptor without endurance. Lenovo puts an OLED panel into its ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 Intel. This screen delivers a great picture quality, but an important aspect of this business laptop is suffering from the screen choice: the battery life.

Leftovers recycling Deluxe. Microsoft updates the compact Surface Laptop Go and equips the 3rd generation with an Alder Lake Core i5 processor. Furthermore, there is now an optional 16 GB of RAM, but the important keyboard backlight is still missing. At the same time, the price has increased further.

OLED-Convertible with Intel instead of AMD After our review of the HP Envy x360 15 2023 with AMD processor, we now also have the Intel version of the convertible as a test device. Apart from the processor, the devices are almost identical, so the Intel variant also has the OLED display and the high-quality chassis. Classic AMD vs. Intel. The NucBox K3 Pro is the AMD alternative to the NucBox K2 each sporting the same chassis design but with different internals. The NucBox K3 Pro model name may sound newer and faster, but it's clearly inferior to the NucBox K2 when it comes to performance.

Peak performer. The XMG Apex 17 proves that gaming laptops don't have to produce excessive noise: Despite high-level performance (Ryzen 7 7840HS, GeForce RTX 4060) the computer manages to run quietly. This is accompanied by well-rounded specs and decent battery life.

This way it works out cheaper. The Tecno Phantom V Flip also comes to the West and offers a strong competitor to Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip 5 with a lower price, a lot of storage, and a round outer display. Our test will show whether the newcomer can convince.

RTX 4060 Ti scare! The AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT follows in the footsteps of the AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT, which was able to score with a good price-performance ratio in the past. We evaluated the AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT in form of the Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX 7700 XT, analyzing it with various tests and benchmarks to find out whether it is a worthy successor of the RX 6700 XT.

More ports and noisier fans. Microsoft’s Surface Laptop Studio is a pretty unique product and the second generation gets much faster components as well as more ports, but the foldable display is identical. 16-inch screen size and only 1.2 kg. The Acer Swift Edge 16 is one of the lightest 16-inch laptops in the market right now with the new Ryzen 7 7840U. There's no doubt that its CPU and 120 Hz OLED display are both impressive, but weaknesses elsewhere on the model shouldn't be ignored.

Sleek Sophistication. This year's Asus ROG Flow X13 improves on many aspects compared to its predecessors. The ROG Flow X13 doesn't have many competitors, and largely lives up to expectations in our tests. However, Asus's gaming convertible demands a premium and there are a few things to watch out for.

A sensible feature? With the AM20, Acemagic has released a mini PC with an AMD Ryzen 7 7735H and an AMD Radeon 680M. Despite its compact form factor, three mass storage drives can be installed and an inductive charging station is hidden in the case lid. AMD Zen 4 works its magic. The AMD Zen 4 U-series platform makes the Intel Core P-series look obsolete. Unless if you value one or two very specific Intel features, then the new AMD Framework should be a no-brainer for most users.

Affordable OLED convertible The HP Envy x360 15 from 2023 is the first convertible or laptop with IMAX Enhanced certification on the market. This means that the display and speakers meet the strict requirements of IMAX and DTS. In combination with the gorgeous OLED display and the fantatstic build quality, the convertible is a good all-rounder.

Red, gold and retro. MSI is doubling down on the design of the 17-inch GE78 for the smaller 16-inch GE68. The new look may not be for everyone, but performance is admirable with some of the fastest CPU and GPU options currently available on any gaming laptop this year.

Affordable gamer. With its LOQ series, Lenovo tries out a new name for affordable gaming laptops compared to the more expensive Legion models. The current 16-inch model is affordable, and the performance is right. So where is the hitch? We test the gaming laptop with an RTX 4060!

Mid-range price, premium feeling. The Xiaomi Pad 6 Max is an exciting alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra, however, the Xiaomi tablet only costs half of what the Tab S9 Ultra does. The 14-inch Pad 6 Max, with its Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, suffers from one major drawback despite its good value for money.

Dwarven powerhouse. Sony's Xperia 5 V is a strong camera phone for small hands: featuring a 48 MP dual camera, the slim 21:9 smartphone manages to replace three lenses. The 6.1-inch small Android 13 phone is also equipped with the lightning-fast Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and a 5000 mAh battery.

5G bargain. Telekom relies on its own smartphones - and now tablets as well. The T Tablet has made its entrance and relies fully on mobile data. Thanks to its 5G capabilities, the device will supposedly always be connected. Furthermore, its collaboration with Google assures slim software and long-lasting support. Hit the jackpot?

The better RTX 4060 Ti? With the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, Nvidia has brought out a good and very efficient graphics card for the price-conscious buyer. A feast for racing game fans? Ubisoft tries to compete with Forza Horizon 5 with The Crew Motorfest. We took a closer look at the title and clarify which graphics card is needed for which settings in this benchmark test.

Gaming on OLED. The Legion Slim 5 14 is the smallest and most travel-friendly Legion laptop yet and its OLED display is certainly a standout feature not found on most other gaming laptops. However, it's missing a key feature that gamers ought to be aware of.

Surprisingly great Souls clone. Better to succeed in imitation than to fail in originality: that is one way to sum up Lies of P. The action game borrows heavily from the well-known Souls' formula. Quiet operation and long battery life. After reviewing the top version of the new EliteBook 845 G10, we now take a look at an exciting configuration with the low-power display and the AMD Ryzen 7 7840U. Thanks to lower power limits, this configuration remains much quieter when working.

Quiet and expensive. Apple has updated its desktop computer, the Mac Studio, which is now fitted with the faster M2 Max or M2 Ultra SoCs. We have tested the base model with the M2 Max and the 30-core GPU as well as 32 GB RAM.

Another price-performance hit? The Poco F5 is one of the first phones to make use of the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2. The rest of its package promises a good user experience, including a 120-Hz display, WiFi 6E, a 3.5-mm jack and a 64-MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS). Worth buying?

Tame Raptor. With the ThinkPad X13 Yoga Gen 4, Lenovo has released the newest member of its traditional business convertible series. This new model has a retooled design with much improved battery life numbers, but a puny performance.

A successful overall package. HP's Omen series has been on the market for a few years now. The manufacturer combines AMD and Nvidia hardware in the current 16-inch xf0376ng model. You can find out whether or how well this mixture harmonizes in our review.

Good midrange! With the AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT, AMD continues to expand its portfolio of the RDNA 3 generation. The new midrange GPU also brings the benefit of the current RDNA 3 architecture to those gamers who are not willing to spend a fortune for it. Precision engineering. Not much has changed from a visual standpoint, but the GPU update from last year's Precision 5470 is significant and worth considering for power users who want to maximize performance from a small 14-inch form factor.

Big bang for the buck. The NucBox K2 skips being flashy and "innovative" for cheaper starting prices while maintaining as much performance as possible. The accessible NucBox K2 should be a top pick for most home and HTPC users on a budget.

Compact fitness skills. The Band 8 marks Huawei's entry into the world of fitness trackers and smartwatches. At the same time, the device has access to the extensive Huawei Health app. It also shows that exact measurements don't have to come at a price. Shopping in XXL format. The affordable Amazon Fire Max 11, with its 11-inch panel, is the manufacturer's largest Fire tablet to date. It competes with a fresh design, a large battery and a new mid-range SoC. Our review reveals how well the Fire Max 11 performs.

Office or gaming - or both? Minisforum is one of the few manufacturers that has dared to house a current Intel graphics card as a dedicated graphics card within a mini PC. The Neptune Series HN2673 brings together the Intel Arc A730M and the Intel Core i7-12650H. In this review, we have summarized the most important aspects including a range of benchmarks and measurements.

T raptor. The 2023 version of the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 uses Intel CPUs of the Raptor Lake series. With the new CPUs, the power usage seems to be lower compared to the predecessor, but apart from this, the Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 4 Intel does not seem like a big upgrade.

Insanely fast for the size. AMD's Zen 4 CPU and Radeon 780M GPU have impressed us yet again with performance results well ahead of most other mini PCs. There's very little to dislike about the SER7 save for some relatively minor annoyances.

Magnesium case and LTE. The EliteBook 1040 G10 is the business flagship from HP and a direct competitor to the ThinkPad X1 Carbon from Lenovo. However, the current Core i5 processor from Intel doesn't offer a lot of performance, and the display of our test unit doesn't reach the values specified by the manufacturer.

A successful gaming laptop even based on AMD. The present Acer Nitro 17 combines a Ryzen 7 7735HS with a GeForce RTX 4070 for about US$1,900. In this review, you can find out whether this combination can magic enough frames onto the internal QHD display when running new games, too.

The convertible laptop for bookworms. What if you could have both a convertible laptop and an eReader all in one? The ThinkBook Plus Twist is a dream come true for bookworms as long as you can accept some caveats.

A new challenger. Tecno Mobile is still largely unknown as a manufacturer in the West. The Chinese are just releasing the first devices in Central Europe. Among them is the Spark 10 5G with an interesting design and 5G for just under €200. We take a closer look at the newcomer in our review.

Miniaturized. Barely bigger than a quarter and still a high-quality infrared camera. This is the InfiRay P2. It can display objects between a temperature of –20 °C to 550 °C on images with a high resolution of 256 × 192 pixels. At the same time, a macro lens helps to find the smallest heat source.

Mid-range haute couture. realme has really given its all in the under 400 dollar price range by getting its 11 Pro styled by a designer. The result may be neat, but a phone has to impress on the inside too, after all. In this review, you can find out whether this was a success for the realme phone.

Freedom of choice. Alienware's gaming notebook provides an extremely flexible hardware configuration. Our test device offers lots of performance (Core i7-13700HX, GeForce RTX 4060) and a decent level of equipment. Battery runtimes, however, are unable to keep pace with the times.

Harmony tablet. The Huawei MatePad 11.5 has a large IPS display and uses a modern Snapdragon 7 processor with plenty of storage. Huawei also offers a pen as well as a keyboard cover. Even though you have to make do without Google services, this isn't much of a hindrance with a productive tablet.

A mini PC with a visual highlight! As an established manufacturer of smartphones and tablets, Blackview is now dipping its toes into the field of mini PCs. With the MP80, the manufacturer has released an extremely compact office PC complete with Intel 95. Colorful and inexpensive. Motorola offers four color variants for this year's entry-level model of the Moto G series. The Moto G14 is light, handy, and has a lot of fast memory for its price range. We take a closer look at the entry-level phone in our review.

M2 with Thunderbolt 4 and Wi-Fi 6E. Apple's Mac Mini now includes the latest M2 and M2 Pro CPUs, delivering plenty of power for a compact desktop. Since upgrades are costly, like they are for MacBooks, the small device can get pricey.

Look ma, no power brick! With so many mini PCs to choose from nowadays, the IdeaCentre Mini will need something up its sleeve to really stand out from the crowd. Luckily, its integrated PSU and inexpensive price of under US$700 for the Core i7 option might just be enough.

Fast enough. This tiny Kingston SSD is supposedly able to deliver speeds of up to 1,000 MB/s over USB and thus offer great performance for a small price tag. In this review, we’ll discuss how much of this actually holds true and whether the device is fast enough for you to run games off it.

A 12-inch tablet at a low price. If you're looking for a particularly big and inexpensive all-round tablet, then the Lenovo Tab P12 is the perfect contender. Costing roughly US$435, the 12.7-inch tablet comes with 3K resolution, a fast eight-core SoC and quad speakers. Furthermore, it supports an active input stylus and a docking keyboard.

The upper-class return? HTC has been quiet, but now the HTC U23 pro is launched. With the new model HTC wants to make an impression in the upper mid-range. It brings the status LED, microSD card, and audio jack from the past.

Great value for money! The AMD Radeon RX 7600 is the latest addition to the RDNA 3 lineup, which until now consists of high-end options. For much less than €300 (US$324), this GPU is capable of running games at Full HD and 60 FPS. Shimmering lightweight. While hardly weighing 1 kg (~2.2 lb), the subnotebook from LG is very well equipped with the Intel Core i7-1360P, 32 GB of working memory, and OLED display. Aside from the performance, the Gram Style also offers some other qualities. What immediate strikes us, is the case surface that can shimmer in all rainbow colors. And the laptop is also able to operate completely quietly - aside from some strange exception.

Multimedia, gaming, and content creation all-on-one. Who needs GeForce MX anymore when you can have a GeForce RTX 4060 run at a low 60 W TGP? It may not perform as fast as dedicated gaming laptops with the exact same GPU, but it's still a significant upgrade from last year's GeForce RTX 3050 Ti.

All the ports you can imagine and then some. Dockcase's snazzy new 10-in-1 hub improves upon its predecessor with even more ports. In this review, we put it to the test with a plethora of hardware to figure out how well it can fit into a minimalistic work-from-home setup.

Classy design. Honor aims to win over new fans in the midrange with the 90. 512 GB of storage, 12 GB of RAM, a 200 MP camera and a 120 Hz OLED panel do not sound measly at all. Nano size = Nano performance? The ThinkPad X1 Nano is back for a third year in a row with the exact same chassis design as its first generation launch. It remains one of the lightest and most portable subnotebooks in the market, but the compromises to performance are still alive and well.

A hidden gem for a fair price! Without much advance notice, AMD has released the Radeon RX 7900 GRE. Initially, the graphics card was only supposed to be available in China. In this review, we have taken a closer look at the GPU which can only be purchased via the system manufacturer Memory:PC. Read on and find out about how well this model performed.

Iterative success. The Mogo 2 Pro from Xgimi is the sequel to the company's budget-minded Mogo Pro. While there are no major upgrades this year, a number of small improvements add together for a significantly improved budget projector. However, there is one noticeable omission (in addition to smaller problems) that makes for an overall positive, if muted, improvement.

AMD, Intel, vapor chamber, liquid metal, CherryMX and more. The Alienware m16 R1 includes everything but the kitchen sink. You'll have to choose carefully, however, as some configurations may be less buggy than others.

Beskar Phone. The RedMagic 8S Pro again relies on the current Snapdragon 8 with a controllable active fan that is integrated into the casing. Compared to last year's model, there are only slight upgrades and the differences to the RedMagic 8 Pro are marginal.

AMD's 3D V-Cache now inside a laptop. The ROG Strix SCAR 17 X3D is the first gaming laptop to feature AMD's newest Ryzen 9 7945HX3D processor which, for the first time ever, relies on 3D cache. Additionally, it is fitted with a GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop which runs all modern games smoothly on the device's fast QHD display.

Better performance in 1080p & QHD.
