Lots of RAM, little premium. The Reno8 Lite offers an interesting design feature with its extravagant dual-ring lights, but that cannot compensate for the pronounced shortcomings. Read this review to find out what Oppo's phone lacks and which mid-range phone we prefer over the Reno8 Lite 5G.

So small and almost a designer phone. The screen of the Cubot Pocket measures just 4 inches, making it ideal for small hands and narrow pockets. Cubot's ultra-handy Android phones are not quite as cheap as they used to be, but is the Pocket still worth it?

Intel Alder Lake with the brakes applied. Until now, the MateBook D 16 has always been an affordable multimedia laptop with AMD CPUs, but the new 2022 model uses an Alder Lake processor from Intel. However, this only runs with the brakes applied, and the price has also increased to 1299 Euros (~$1311).

Arc vs. GeForce. Increasingly powerful integrated GPUs are a big problem for entry-level GPUs. Nvidia still offers the GeForce MX550 in this segment and Intel just launched the new Arc A350M. We had the chance to review the two GPUs and find out if they still have advantages over the current iGPU generation.

Prosumer status. Having already cracked the gaming space, MSI is continuing its efforts to carve into the lucrative office and business segment with its Summit series of prosumer devices. The Summit E14 Flip is one of the best models in its family thus far with build quality rivaling that of bigger OEMs.

The sixth AMD Ryzen generation plays in the top class. With the Security Edition of the EliteBook, HP is catering to an affluent clientele looking for an uncompromisingly powerful and mobile laptop. In addition, the 14-inch laptop also fulfills high security demands with features such as Sure View, Fingerprint and Wolf Pro software.

Weaknesses in the details. With the Inspiron 15 Plus, Dell offers a sleek and compact multimedia laptop that is suitable for all kinds of purposes. We took a detailed look at the 15-inch laptop.

Sustainable and modular. Prime Computer offers an interesting business notebook in the form of the PrimeBook Circular, which employs a modular design with the goal of high sustainability. Better than a Redmi Note 11? With the Moto G52, Motorola created an affordable Moto phone that achieves very long runtimes in our testing. Additionally, the bright 90-Hz OLED display is one of the best in its price range. However, there is also one big drawback to the Motorola Moto G52.

Looking sharp. While still using the same SoC, the Samsung Galaxy M13 is finally catching up with similarly priced phones when it comes to screen resolution. Weak version. We have already reviewed the Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Detachable with i7, and now we will update our review of the i3 version. There is one thing to say in advance: we cannot recommend the CPU downgrade to the i3.

Savings package. The Honor X8 presents itself with a large LCD screen, a lot of storage, and a quad camera with a high-resolution 64 MP sensor at its core. However, we also noticed a few small pitfalls in the test. We will find out what they are and whether the X8 is still worth it.

Intel 12th gen Core i7 HX debut. The 110 W Core i7-12800HX CPU isn't pulling any punches. Power consumption is certainly high, but the gains are well worth it especially for the target audience of enthusiasts and performance hunters.

Strong comeback. The Honor Magic4 Pro is a high-end smartphone with a wide variety of features and the first model from the former Huawei subsidiary since the acquisition. Thanks to the lack of trade restrictions, it offers a great feature set with a focus on the camera setup.

Robust mobile companion. The affordable HP ProBook 445 G8 is a 14-inch office laptop with many strengths. Very good portability meets strong AMD Ryzen performance. Read on to find out whether the competition is able to keep up.

Powerhouse. With a Core i9-12900HX and a GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, the MSI laptop offers enough performance for 4K gaming, video editing, and rendering. In fact, it often reaches the best benchmark results we have seen from this GPU so far.

Room for improvement. Xiaomi's Watch S1 Active is a sporty-looking smartwatch with all sorts of features. How well these functions work and what the wearable has to offer is explained in our review of the Xiaomi Watch S1 Active. Unfortunately, not everything is positive.

Kamehameha. The realme GT Neo 3T draws attention with its flashy colors and a "Dragon Ball Z" special edition case. Is this all just hype, or does the mid-range smartphone also prove itself in our review?

Summer is just around the corner. Camping weekends, trips to the lake, or simply journeys into the countryside cause batteries of cell phones and laptops to run down far too early. For short trips, you have a power bank with you, but for a longer journey, you take a power station with a normal household socket.

Transition to Intel is expensive. Huawei has now furnished the multimedia notebook MateBook 16 with an Intel processor and calls it the MateBook 16s. Buyers also get a Thunderbolt 4 port, a state-of-the-art Wi-Fi 6E module, and a bit more key travel. Other than that, there isn't much of a difference. Does that justify a price increase of 500 Euro (US$510)?

Affordable OLED laptop. Besides using Intel processors, Asus also offers AMD processors for its Zenbook 14X. This results in a price advantage; the model is available for less than 1,000 Euros (~$1,018). However, some features have been omitted, such as a Thunderbolt port, an Nvidia graphics card, and a Screenpad - i.e. a second display integrated into the ClickPad.

Affordable and high-quality. In our laptop test, HP's affordable ZBook Power 15 G8 with Intel's Core i7-11800H shows a good but inconsistent workstation performance. Our test unit comes with an Nvidia T600 and scores with a very good battery life, excellent input devices, and bright FDH panel.

A Win-Win situation. The Win Max 2 is trying to be a lot of things at once for gamers, artists, office workers, and students. To our surprise, it actually works very well on all fronts to be a huge improvement over the original Win Max thanks to both design improvements and Intel's new 12th gen CPU.

2x 2.5 GbE and a great value proposition. The Chinese NAS specialist TerraMaster has significantly upgraded some vital components of the F4-423 in comparison to its predecessor, while the recently released TOS 5.0 operating system is supposed to finally catch up to the competition in terms of software.

Water games. Users of powerful 15-inch gamers often have to live with high temperatures and noise levels. While laptop components are becoming increasingly efficient, it will probably be a while yet before gaming is possible on silent and cool high-performance laptops. Perhaps Schenker thought it was time for some practical interim solutions and so decided to experiment by creating a gaming laptop with an optional, liquid cooling system, the XMG Oasis. Return of the horsepower champs. Every year, Codemasters releases a fresh version of the top class game for racing fans. We once again put several notebook and desktop graphics cards through the benchmark course.

Professionalism at home. With a particularly color-accurate display, a GeForce RTX 3050 with Nvidia Studio drivers, and a powerful Ryzen 5 5600H, the Asus VivoBook Pro 14 OLED is a laptop with professional features for users at home. The multimedia laptop also stands out with a sturdy case and many other interesting features.

Premiere for the 25-watt Zen3+. Asus' new Zenbook S 13 is an extremely compact notebook weighing just over 1 kg that does not cut back on a whole lot of performance thanks to the new AMD Ryzen 7 6800U. The OLED screen ensures good image quality that is free of PWM thanks to a software solution.

Lightweight. Motorola's Edge series consists of its best smartphones, and the Edge 30 is the newest addition. At just under 7 millimeters, it is one of the thinnest smartphones on the market, combined with high performance, a bright AMOLED screen and two 50 MP cameras.

No brainer for under 250 Euros? Due to its strong features and three-year update policy, the Tab M10 Plus has the potential to become a real bestseller, but only when the price drops. This might sound paradoxical for such a low-priced tablet with stylus support, but there's a reason for it.

Dull or sharp? A Core i9-12900H and GeForce RTX 3080 Ti provide sufficient performance for 4k gaming, video processing, and rendering. The matte 4k display (IPS, 144 Hz) scores with a good color reproduction and high brightness. Our test shows what else the new Blade 17 in the high-end configuration can do.

Old School Business. Dynabook equips the Satellite Pro with an AMD processor for the first time, but still uses the familiar case. Apart from the processor, nothing has actually changed, but is that still enough for a cheap office computer in 2022?

Business allrounder! With the ExpertCenter series, Asus offers some powerful business PCs whose equipment and build already remind us of a small workstation. But in order to find out whether we can also expect a similar performance, we looked at the D9 SFF D900SC in more detail and ran it through numerous benchmarks.

Intel 12th gen for only $550 USD. You don't have to spend four digits just to experience the latest generation of Intel processors. The 2022 Gateway Ultra Slim comes with a 12th gen Intel CPU that rivals the popular Core i7-1165G7 for nearly half the price.

Also rainproof. The Moto G82 5G is a nice addition to Motorola's portfolio at a typical mid-range price of around EUR 330. Thanks to its strong features, similarly priced smartphones appear less attractive by comparison. But does the Moto G82 play all its cards right?

Almost a ZenBook. Despite being "only" a Vivobook, the Vivobook S 14X uses the same 14.5-inch Samsung OLED panel as the Zenbook Pro 14 Duo for a similar viewing experience at a much cheaper price. If you're looking to spend just under $1000 USD on an Ultrabook, then this Asus can offer a lot for the money.

Success model. With its Galaxy A33 5G, Samsung has identified and remedied the weaknesses of the Galaxy A32 5G predecessor. With a 90 Hz AMOLED display, a more modern SoC and a waterproof case, the mid-range smartphone even comes dangerously close to matching the Galaxy A53 5G.

Low emissions. Acer's 14-inch laptop offers a matte touchscreen display (Full HD, IPS), low operating noise, good battery life, and Thunderbolt 4. The integration with the Google Play Store allows the use of countless Android apps.

Super fast or even faster? A racing design, 150 watt charging and a dedicated display chip for more efficient gaming: The realme GT Neo 3 has a lot to offer. In our review, we put the smartphone to the test to see if it lives up to its bold promises.

Compact office computer. The Nofflink M500 is a mini PC for day-to-day office use. In this review, we will take a closer look at the base model with the Intel Pentium Gold 5405U.

Very hot! MSI has opted for high-end components. The CPU and graphics card are in the same league as the best gaming laptops. The excellent display as well as a remarkably slim case, on the other hand, show its multimedia nature. The combination is bound to lead to conflicts, but it promises creative peak performance.

Performance meets fast charging. Pop-up triggers and an extensive cooling solution place the Poco F4 GT firmly in the gaming phone category. With a 120-Hz AMOLED panel, a Snapdragon Gen 1, and a quad audio system, it looks promising - and not just for gamers.

Who needs GeForce MX anymore? The Zenbook Flip 15 is back with 12th gen Intel Core H CPUs and the new Intel Arc A370M GPU to replace last year's Core U options and the GeForce GTX 1650 Max-Q, respectively. While CPU performance is insanely fast for a convertible, perhaps the GeForce MX550 would have been the better move.

Flagship with Intel problems. For the first time, Lenovo is offering the ThinkPad X1 Carbon with a stronger class of processors than the U series. Our comprehensive review of the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon G10 with Alder-Lake P28 shows: It is hardly worth it.

Fast, noisy, and powerful. Schenker combines a socketed Ryzen 9-5900X CPU with a GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. This results in a powerful laptop that strikes a good figure in the areas of gaming, video processing, and rendering. However, a long battery life, quiet operation, and low power consumption shouldn't be too important for potential buyers here.

More performance in a familiar shape. We still have to wait for the brand-new redesign of the MacBook Air, but Apple already launched the updated version of the MacBook Pro 13 with the new Apple M2 processor. The changes are otherwise very limited since both the display as well as the chassis including the Touch Bar are unchanged from the previous model.

Interactive movie. While the horror story hit Until Dawn was reserved for the Playstation 4, the new offspring from Supermassive Games has also been released for the PC. We took a closer look at the graphics requirements.

A new design - but what else? The OnePlus Nord 2T takes its cues from classic OnePlus phones with its roughened surface. Apart from that, little has changed compared to the predecessor at first glance. In our review, we'll see if we can identify any refinements that could justify an update.

Trigger-happy. Xiaomi updates its gaming phone with a new look, faster SoC, slightly larger battery, and a new main camera. Is the Black Shark 5 Pro a recommendation for ambitious gamers?

Excellent 4K display with AdobeRGB. The current Dell XPS 17 9720 is receiving the new Intel Alder Lake processors with the continued ability to combine them with RTX GPUs from Nvidia. However, compared to the predecessor, the graphics performance was reduced and the cooling is slightly weak overall. It's about time for an extensive update.

Tiger. Lenovo's 14-incher has a Tiger Lake processor on board, hardly warms up, and generally works quietly. Windows 10 Home in S mode serves as the operating system (an upgrade to Windows 11 is possible). The purchase price is below 300 Euros.

Like a 16-inch tablet. Though still rare, 16-inch convertible laptops are becoming more common nowadays. The Inspiron 16 7620 2-in-1 is one of the more affordable ones in its category and it even sports the latest 12th gen Intel CPUs and GeForce MX GPUs to be as fast or faster than most other convertibles.

Alder Lake P with 50 watts. Lenovo offers an interesting and affordable subnotebook with the Yoga Slim 7i Pro in the 14IAP configuration, which comes equipped with a twelve-core Intel Core i5-1240P and a 2.8K display. In our review, it displays various strengths, but also cuts back in the wrong place.

Apple's M1 Max in a desktop computer. With the Mac Studio, Apple offers a desktop computer for content creators that's now also based on Apple's in-house M1 CPUs. We review the version with the M1 Max, and at the same time, we take a look at the new Studio Display with its 5K resolution.

More than just more VRAM! Nvidia's GeForce RTX 3080 12 GB is yet another high-end graphics card supposed to succeed the GeForce RTX 3080. It is Nvidia's response to repeated requests for more VRAM, and we take a closer look at this latest RTX incarnation with now 12 GB of VRAM by reviewing a model made by KFA2.

Drama in five acts. With the latest updates, Apple has finally made both its media player Apple TV and the HomePod Mini suitable for traveling. However, Notebookcheck.com had to visit several hotels until the interaction of Apple and WLAN with Captive Portal worked. Apple was not always to blame.

Not just for beauties. The Vivo V23 5G primarily wants to convince with its dual front-facing camera, which has a strong 50 MP sensor. However, the triple camera on the back is also promising. In addition, there is a bright AMOLED, modern communication modules, and fast charging.

An inspiring Inspiron. 16:10 aspect ratio displays were previously only available on higher-end laptops, but they have finally made their way to more affordable models like the Inspiron 14 7420 convertible. The bigger display pairs well with Intel's latest 12th gen CPU offerings for an attractive buy.

Sophisticated. Weighing only 1,040 g, the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 scores points with an Alder Lake CPU, Thunderbolt 4, and very good battery life. Positive: The laptop is completely silent when required. The OLED touchscreen can be used both with the fingers as well as with the included S-Pen.

Electric scooters can now be seen in every major city. Scooter rental companies on every corner are not exactly to the delight of local residents. But is buying a personal electric scooter worthwhile? As an example, we examine the Himo L2 Max here.

Quick as a Kobra: A spring steel print bed, automatic print bed leveling and a powerful direct-drive extruder are combine to make a powerful 3D printer. At the same time, the Anycubic Kobra offers beginners an easy way to get started. A printing speed of up to 180 mm/s is claimed to be possible with the 3D printer.

Expensive fun. Gaming laptops are often thick bricks - but not so the Acer Predator Triton 500 SE. With a relatively slim aluminum case, the Taiwanese manufacturer attacks known competitors such as the Razer Blade 17. Our detailed test reveals whether this attempt is crowned by success.

100+ W desktop CPU on a laptop. Why use a 12th gen mobile H-series CPU when you can just use a full-fledged K-series desktop CPU instead? Though performance is impressive for a laptop, users should still expect a deficit when compared to a "proper" desktop setup.

Two screens and a fast CPU. Asus has retained the dual-screen concept with the new Zenbook Pro 14 Duo that features a fast 120 Hz OLED display and a new Alder Lake H processor from Intel. Optionally, there are also models with dedicated GeForce RTX graphics cards, but our test device only comes with the integrated GPU.

Back to IPS. Samsung has finally taken the step to 5G with the Galaxy M23, but the AMOLED screen has been dropped. Are the Koreans lagging behind the market or do they once again build a decent and inexpensive mid-range phone? We will find out in the review.

On the FPS hunt. For its Raider GE66 12UHS, MSI goes all out and equips the laptop with an Intel Core i9-12900HK, a RTX 3080 Ti, a 120 Hz 4K panel and innovative cooling. We put the 15-inch high-end behemoth to the test and find out whether it is capable of meeting the latest gaming demands.

4200 Pa suction power, wiping function and smart control via app enable the effective use of the Roborock Q7 Max. The vacuuming and mopping robot keeps floors clean and integrates well into the smart home. Here, Alexa, Google Assistant and Siri are ready to assist with the control.

Solid entry-level workstation. Lenovo's ThinkPad P15v G2 is an inexpensive 15-inch workstation with a 4K display option in a fairly slim format. It is not only quick, quiet and robust, but also offers acceptable battery runtimes, very good input devices, fast Wi-Fi 6 and expansion options.

Powerful and silent! Prime Computer has a very particular vision with the Primestation Pulsar. The concept of the powerful office PC is to be sustainable in all regards. We take a closer look, running it though our tests, and find that the fanless concept can be quite convincing.

Next-Gen inexpensive. The predecessor was a bit behind its time, but Samsung noticeably catches up in the low-priced phones segment with the Galaxy A03. Are the fast Wi-Fi and the new camera enough to really shake up the competition?

Used to success. The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G builds on a best-selling series with a whole new SoC and a more powerful battery. However, nothing has changed in other areas, such as the camera. Our review will reveal whether the Galaxy A53 can still get a recommendation from us.

Comprehensive, yet incomplete. The S1 is Xiaomi's top smartwatch. Its stainless steel casing, OLED display, and long battery life speak for themselves. However, as the following review shows, the S1 still has room for improvement in certain areas, some of which could be solved by future software updates.

In this camera comparison, we look at the development in the photo quality of smartphones in the last four years, taking the flagship smartphone series from OnePlus as an example. We include the OnePlus 10 Pro, OnePlus 9 Pro, OnePlus 8 Pro, and OnePlus 7T Pro in our comparison, with results that leave open some questions.

Claim to leadership. Samsung aims to leave the competition in the dust with its new premium tablet Galaxy Tab S8 5G. A case out of Armor Aluminum, a high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, a 120 Hz screen, and the Samsung S Pen are just a few of the hardware ingredients that the manufacturer offers. We put the Galaxy Tab S8 5G through its paces in the following review.

A sprinter. A Core i7 12700H CPU and a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti laptop GPU run all current computer games smoothly on a responsive 15.6-inch screen (QHD). The notebook also offers space for up to three storage devices and comes with a Thunderbolt 4 port. Price: around US$ 2400.

Narrowed perspective. The Oppo A76 is an affordable mid-range phone that looks more expensive than it is thanks to its pretty design. However, the features could be better here and there, especially in view of the strong competition. So the question remains: is the Oppo A76 recommendable?

Powerful hardware at an affordable price. This is exactly what the Katana GF66 offers. After the upgrade to Alder Lake, the Katana gaming laptops are even more powerful. However, to end up at a sales price of around 2000 Euros ($2142), MSI cuts some corners in many areas. With this, the gaming laptop looks better on paper than some of our measurements reveal.

Intel 12th gen update. The Alder Lake platform has done wonders for the XPS 17 series in terms of raw performance, but it comes at a cost that power users ought to be aware of.

As an intelligent air purifier, the Jya Fjord Pro offers not only a high cleaning performance, but also a lot of information about the indoor air and its quality. Via app and on the small touch screen of the TÜV-certified air purifier, the air pollution including pollen load can be monitored in addition to temperature and humidity.

Mini Gaming PC! Minisforum is already well known to many as a manufacturer of Mini PCs. But up until now its portfolio hasn't included a really powerful gaming PC. The Minisforum EliteMini B550 is about to change that. Your choice of dedicated graphics card allows you to determine graphics performance.

Scar ye DNA. This year's Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 G533 comes with an improved WQHD 240 Hz panel along with upgrades to Intel Alder Lake Core i9-12900H and a 150 W Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti with a dedicated MUX switch. We find that the Scar 15 is able to check off most boxes that enthusiast gamers look out for. Areas of concern still remain, however, particularly with respect to emissions and power draws.

Somewhat misses its mark. Like the Oppo Find X5 Pro, the Find X5 Lite also aims to court the favor of price-conscious buyers with a fast OLED display, artificial intelligence and rapid charging times. In some respects, however, the Oppo phone lags behind the competition in this price range.

Does the SoC in the Galaxy smartphone make a difference? Many prospective buyers of a Galaxy S22 Ultra would have certainly preferred a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen. 1 in Europe as well. Especially because the Xclipse 920 GPU was somewhat disappointing in our review. Is the Galaxy S22 Ultra with an Exynos SoC worth buying at all? We clarify this in the following comparison review.

The Nord Buds denotes OnePlus' plans to expand its audio segment with affordable wireless in-ear headphones. Despite the low price of under US$ 50 (RRP), the True Wireless headphones inherit some features of the OnePlus Buds Pro flagship, such as AI noise cancellation and a special coating.

The Intel 12th gen update. Now in its third year, the XPS 15 9520 is another internal update to the already familiar 2020 XPS 15 9500 and 2021 XPS 15 9510. But is the fancy new Alder Lake-H CPU really enough to make a difference?

Display reference for devices under 200 Euros (~$214). For a price of less than 200 Euros (~$214), the Redmi Note 11 features a very interesting technical configuration. First of all, the very bright AMOLED panel including its 90 Hz refresh rate and excellent calibration is a unique selling point. Read on to find out where users will have to compromise with the Xiaomi phone.

Dynamic duo. A Ryzen 9 6900HX APU and GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU bring all the current games smoothly to the matte 4k screen (IPS, DCI P3, FreeSync) in the 16:10 format. They are accompanied by 4 TB of storage (RAID 0), 64 GB of working memory, and a surprisingly good battery life.

A compact gaming PC! The Magnus series from Zotac has already been known for a while. At this point, the series also includes some compact desktop PCs that are supposed to serve as work machines or as in this case, a full-blown gaming PC. The equipment reminds us of a good gaming laptop, since the compact build requires a well-designed cooling system. Find out in this review, how this worked out and what you can expect from the mobile GeForce RTX 3070.

Gram(my) award winner. Can LG compete with the big boys like Lenovo, HP, Dell, or Asus in the subnotebook convertible space? The latest superlight Gram design is a significant improvement over older models to be a serious contender that users may want to consider.

Extremely mobile. The Galaxy Book2 weighs less than 1 kg and is powered by a 12th generation Intel i5. It is also extremely thin thanks to its OLED display. The result is an extremely portable notebook that Samsung has endowed with stamina and performance, but also with the usual weaknesses.

We reviewed a few new Alder Lake-P CPUs from Intel over the last two weeks and our concerns are supported by the test results. The power consumption is very high, which is a challenge for the cooling solutions. It is also a problem for customers, because a Core i5 can be more powerful than a Core i7 and there can be massive performance differences in general.

For penny pinchers. In the most affordable version of the Victus 16, HP combines a Ryzen 5 5600H with a GeForce RTX 3050 Ti, which promises plenty of performance for the 144-Hz FHD display. If it only wasn't for the mediocre image quality…
