Deus Ex Human Revolution Benchmarks
The high rated RPG shooter Deus Ex Human Revolution is the third game of the Deus Ex franchise (to be precise a prequel) and got high scores by game reviewers. In the following article we will present you laptop and desktop benchmarks of various systems and assess the system requirements to play Deus Ex.
Testing methology
We benchmark the first minutes of the single player campaign using Fraps. The recording starts as soon as the women leads us through the laboratory (we talk to her) and ends when a delivery boy approaches us and crashes into another employee (and drops his boxes).
Benchmark analysis
If you want to play Deus Ex in the highest settings, 1920x1080 and MLAA you need at least a laptop featuring a GeForce GTX 570M or a desktop with a Radeon HD 5850. A desktop GeForce GTS 450 wont have enough performance e.g. for a fluent gaming experience.
Reducing detail settings and resolution, fast mid-range-graphics-cards like the GeForce GT 540M (for laptops) are able to produce playable framerates. If you turn off anti-aliasing, even a Radeon HD 6630M should be sufficient.
Using the lowest possible settings, the game does not look that bad as it sounds, but is playable even on modern integrated graphics cards like the Intel HD Graphics 3000. If you got an entry level dedicated graphics card like the GeForce GT 520M or the Radeon HD 6450 (desktop), the performance should also be sufficient.
