Alder Lake-H and GeForce RTX in 14 inches Honor is now aiming to offer much more performance with its new MagicBook 14, which combines the latest 45-watt Alder Lake H processor with a dedicated Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 graphics card. Not to mention more key travel. Update: USB-C charging limitation confirmed by Honor.

The best Windows ultrabook!? The MateBook X Pro 2022 sports a new case with a larger display, an up-to-date Alder Lake processor from Intel and a wide range of features. The end result is very good, but the Intel Evo certified ultrabook also comes with a hefty price tag of around 2,199 Euros (~US$ 2199).

As already the Xiaomi 12S Ultra, the upper-class smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer also uses the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, UFS 3.1 storage, and an LTPO AMOLED panel. In addition, the Xiaomi smartphone offers fast 120-Watt charging. At about 800 Euros (~$803), is this a rounded package?

AMD Zen 3+ for cheap. The Lenovo gaming laptop costs only $800 USD and it comes with AMD's latest generation Zen3+ H-series processor. Based on what we've seen so far, however, you may be better off finding a laptop with the older Ryzen 7 5800H instead if CPU performance is priority.

Good arguments, bad arguments. The Moto E32s offers fast Wi-Fi, has a 90-Hz screen, and lasts for a long time. However, the entry-level phone also has to make do with little performance. Is it still worth a second look?

Lenovo's ThinkBook 15 G4 still fits between a consumer and a business laptop. This office or multimedia laptop is available in the relaxed design of the IdeaPads, but offers a little more in terms of performance and features. The AMD Ryzen 5 5625U from the Barcelo update also makes sure of this.

The $199 mini PC. Beelink has updated its inexpensive U59 mini PC with more RAM and a new Intel Celeron CPU without needing to jack up the price. How much of a performance boost can users really expect?

Whether studying or working, the 14-inch ThinkBook exhibited a high degree of energy efficiency and durable casing in our test. Despite its small battery, this laptop featuring a Ryzen 5 processor from the Barcelo series lasts a long time. That makes this laptop a great companion.

Against the slimming trend. The Gigabyte A5 K1 presents itself as a classic gaming laptop that does not put emphasis on a thin and particularly light case. The focus is rather on a good price-performance ratio, because you get a six-core CPU from AMD and a GeForce RTX 3060 with high TGP for under 1,000 Euros (~$993).

One of the lightest Core i7-1280P laptops. 450 nits, full sRGB colors, 16:10 aspect ratio, 5G Sub 6 WAN, and 12th gen Core P CPU all in a system lighter than 1 kg. Can you really fit all these features in a small 13-inch form factor without cutting corners?

Socket AM4's last lap. The AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D is the company's first attempt at a mainstream desktop CPU that leverages 3D V-cache technology. 3D V-cache provides AMD with a shot in the arm in gaming enabling it to beat even the Intel Core i9-12900K without clock or TDP increases. However, its current implementation results in several deficiencies that narrow the Ryzen 7 5800X3D's use cases.

The best camera smartphone on the market? Xiaomi launches an impressive flagship camera smartphone in the form of the 12S Ultra. A huge 1-inch sensor is supposed to make the 12S Ultra nothing less than the best smartphone in the field of mobile photography. Read this review to find out whether the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 equipped smartphone succeeds in this regard.

Thrifty penny pincher. While the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11S officially only costs 200 Euros (~$199), it still offers extensive equipment. The highlight of the 6.43-inch smartphone is its 90-Hz AMOLED panel, which offers a very good image quality. In addition, the equipment includes a 108-MP camera, a 5000-mAh battery, and a 33-Watt charger for quick charging. Our test shows whether it is worth buying.

Fast and quiet! As a new AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT edition, AMD has given the Radeon RX 6750 XT a small facelift. A higher GPU clock and slightly faster VRAM provide more performance. Ryzen, OLED & USB 4. With the new Yoga 7, Lenovo offers an very exciting 14-inch convertible that uses the latest AMD Ryzen 7 6800U. Performance values are very good, but is the rest of the device also up to scratch? Is the Yoga 7 perhaps even better than the Yoga 9i?

Not only for thick fingers. Vivo is cooperating closely with Zeiss for the X80 Pro's camera. In addition to the well-known gimbal stabilization, Vivo aims to ensure natural color reproduction in a flagship-like smartphone that is visually and technically appealing, but not exactly cheap.

True to its name. The MSI Titan GT77 is one of the best-performing laptops right now. The Core i9-12900HX and GeForce RTX 3080 Ti allow for 4K gaming, video editing and rendering. After recently reviewing a Titan GT77 with an FHD panel, we have now got our hands on the top-spec model featuring a 4K display.

Inexpensive with 90 Hz screen. The Motorola Moto E32 does not cost much but still comes with a fast screen. The manufacturer has also improved the charging technology. However, Motorola itself has faster and cheaper competitors. Is the cheap phone worth it at all?

Maximum performance! The Schenker XMG Neo 17 barely compromises on anything. With AMD's Ryzen 9 6900HX and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU, gamers have a lot to get excited over. In this review, we will go into more detail regarding the actual performance and new features of the M22 model.

14-inch rapid multi-tasker. The Inspiron 14 Plus packs a lot of power for a 14-inch laptop with its 12th gen Core-H CPU and GeForce RTX graphics. It's a good solution for users who want something more powerful than a standard Ultrabook yet cheaper than an Asus Zephyrus G14 or Razer Blade 14.

Magnesium shell and Alder Lake-P. Dynabook has equipped the Portégé X30L with Intel’s current Alder Lake processor. The magnesium case is extremely light at around 900 grams, which makes the business notebook an extremely mobile companion. However, the performance of the new processor falls short of expectations.

Small display. Big pixel count. The IdeaPad 5 Pro is not a typical office or business laptop with a variety of security features and ports, but rather a compact all-rounder. The biggest highlight of this 14-inch device is its high-resolution IPS panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio.

Look like a dragonfly, sting like a bee. The Dragonfly G3 ditches the old 16:9 form factor for a more work-appropriate 3:2 aspect ratio with plenty of display options to choose from. The CPU upgrade, however, isn't as big as we were hoping.

More uptime thanks to Alder Lake-U. The Core i7-1255U rocking ProBook 450 G9 runs whisper-quiet and stays cool to the touch while operating quite efficiently. It also has a long-lasting battery to boot. Our review shows how much of a potential Alder Lake-U has to offer and whether or not it is put to good use in the business laptop.

Bright 16:10 display. It's not exactly easy to find a laptop with a bright display in the price range below 1,000 Euros (~$995). HP's sleek and compact Envy 14 is among the few exceptions. Read on to find out what else the 14-inch device can do.

With the same processor and almost identical specs overall, the Doogee S98 Pro drops the 64 MP Samsung camera of its regular sibling for a 48 MP Sony image snapper but also comes with a thermal imaging camera while losing the secondary display. The result is a specialized handset that targets various professionals.

The Xgimi Aura is a 4K ultra-short throw (UST) projector that projects a massive 150-inch 4K image at a lower cost than most competitors. Though the Aura struggles in brightly lit rooms, it excels in delivering a stellar "movie theater" experience thanks to its crisp visuals and excellent speakers.

8 cores in a compact chassis. With the ZenBook 14, Asus aims to appeal to customers who are looking for a particularly light and slim laptop that also offers long battery life. Despite the compact case dimensions, the built-in Ryzen CPU provides a surprising amount of power.

High performance for cheap. If you want to maximize performance while minimizing the damage done to your wallet, then the new IdeaPad Flex 5i 14 may be worthwhile. Its 12th gen Core i5 CPU runs faster than most 11th gen Core i7 options while costing hundreds of dollars less.

Poor display and inadequate performance. The Galaxy Book2 is an interesting multimedia laptop that Samsung is bringing to the market. It features a 15.6-inch display and pairs an Intel Alder Lake CPU with the new Intel Arc A350M dedicated graphics card. In daily use, however, it disappoints in terms of both performance and image quality.

Lightweight. The Core i7-11800H CPU and the GeForce RTX 3070 laptop GPU bring all the latest games smoothly onto the matte QHD screen (165 Hz). This is complemented by a mechanical keyboard, good battery life, and a Thunderbolt 4 port.

Beauty with limitations. The Honor Watch GS 3 is a slim and stylish smartwatch. It has more sports modes than the manufacturer's other watches and Honor emphasizes that it has installed more accurate sensors. However, the measured vital signs show up conspicuously in the comparison. We show the strengths and weaknesses of the Watch GS 3 in the test.

Still too expensive. Microsoft keeps the compact Surface Laptop Go, equipping the second generation with Intel's Tiger Lake CPUs. While the performance is sufficient for everyday tasks and the case and display are decent, the price is too high and there is no keyboard illumination.

5G even in the rain. The Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro is a water- and dustproof smartphone that has been simply designed without annoying rubber flaps over the jacks. With modern ports and a replaceable battery, it should also be a decent smartphone for everyday use, right?

Finally a matte display. The LG Gram 17 (17Z90Q) is very light at 1,350 grams, and it features an Alder Lake processor, Thunderbolt 4 as well as room for two PCIe 4 SSDs. This is complemented by excellent battery life and a matte 17-inch display in the 16:10 format (2,560x1,600 pixels).

The Titans have arrived. After a two-year hiatus, the MSI Titan GT77 signifies the company resurrecting its iconic flagship laptop lineup. The Titan GT77 is powered by the Core i9-12900HX, a 175 W RTX 3080 Ti Laptop GPU, and other niceties including plenty of NVMe storage, DDR5-4800 RAM, and a highly tactile Cherry MX mechanical keyboard — almost everything that enthusiast gamers aspire for. The Titan GT77 is a covetable desktop replacement indeed, but it is not without certain shortcomings.

Pure performance. The ROG phone takes up the design of the similarly named laptop series, standing for gaming performance without compromises in pocket format. Asus again uses the most powerful Qualcomm SoC and offers optional active cooling for the first time. In addition, the camera finally also received an upgrade.

Making phones with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 look old? The OnePlus 10T is considerably cheaper than the flagship smartphone from OnePlus, while offering a better processor and faster charging with an incredible 150 watts. Golden boy. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G boasts a lot of equipment. One with everything please. The Huawei Watch GT 3 Pro is the Chinese manufacturer's top smartwatch. It is packed with sensors and is also a chic everyday companion. Our test clarifies whether there are any limitations despite the full features.

For pros on the go. Last year's Spectre x360 14 was one of the best convertible laptops in its size category. This year's refresh addresses many of the shortcomings of its older sibling to be an easy recommendation for the hybrid work-at-home and office lifestyles.

Low profile, low power, low cost. The GEEKOM MiniAir 11 is tiny, even by mini PC standards. Despite its small package, it is a competent PC for basic home and work tasks.

Conclusion after 6 weeks of use. The Smart Band 7 is very similar to the Smart Band 6 at first glance. However, the AMOLED display grows considerably in the current fitness tracker generation and also has an always-on function. However, the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 still lacks an important feature for athletes.

A Plus for performance. Not only does the Dell XPS 13 Plus have a touch bar and a completely new keyboard, but it also offers more performance than the base XPS version thanks to Alder Lake P. The Tronsmart Onyx Ace Pro is an affordable AirPods alternative with Gaming Mode and impressive autonomy, as well as Siri, Cortana, and Google Assistant support. The 13 mm drivers and Qualcomm aptX support are also great in theory, but real-world usage might come with a few surprises.

A Dynabook dinosaur? The Portege X40-K is the company's premium business laptop retailing for over $1400 USD and yet it comes with a display that's found on budget laptops for almost half the price. The model could certainly use more updates beyond just the new 12th gen CPU.

The expensive Air has to throttle earlier. After we tested the basic model, we now also got our hands on the faster version of the new MacBook Air with 16 GB of RAM, a large 1-TB SSD, and the faster 10-core GPU version of the M2 and ran it through our tests. However, the graphics update is particularly disappointing, since the passively cooled MacBook Air M2 needs to throttle its performance quickly.

This is how it gambles without a top-of-the-line SoC. As a cheaper gaming model, the Xiaomi Black Shark 5 comes with a fast but not a top processor. However, the 144 Hz screen of the Pro model remains. Is the Black Shark 5 too slow, or still a bargain for gamers?

Risking more minimalism. P processors for the XPS Plus, U processors for the normal XPS. Dell's fragmentation shows: You can forget about the normal version with a U-class processor, if you are after fast performance in a 13-inch device. Instead, it is meant for entertainment and simple office tasks with its good runtimes, low emissions, and high-contrast FHD display.

ThinkPad meets XPS 13 - with Ryzen. Why is there no ThinkPad X1 with AMD CPUs? That's because there's now a premium series exclusively for AMD with the ThinkPad Z series. The Lenovo ThinkPad Z13 G1 presents many arguments in its favor in our review, and it's one of the best compact laptops so far in 2022.

Fast, but loud! Acer's Nitro 5 series is known for its affordable gaming machines. The latest Alder Lake CPU and a fast GeForce RTX 3060 aim to put this particular model on solid footing. However, there is a lot of criticism in terms of noise. More details can be found in the following review.

Entry-level GeForce RTX 3050 gaming. After having just reviewed the TUF Dash F15 with GeForce RTX 3070 graphics, let's see how it compares to the less expensive GeForce RTX 3050 option. The cheaper GPU is slower, of course, but it disappoints in other key areas as well.

Large contender. The Samsung Galaxy M53 has a generous display size of 6.70 inches, and it comes with a microSD slot, two features that are now rare in the mid-range. In this review, we'll take a look at everything else that the Samsung smartphone with a MediaTek SoC can do.

DSLR replacement for your pocket? Sony's Xperia 1 IV comes with a variable zoom lens, thus making use of real optical zoom in a smartphone. Cameras aside, the flagship phone sports other unusual features such as a status LED, a microSD slot, a headphone jack and a shutter button.

Now 20 to 50 percent faster. The 2022 update includes a higher resolution webcam, 5G support, and faster Alder Lake-U CPU options all with vPro support. Are the differences enough to propel it over the already excellent Latitude 9420 2-in-1?

No notch? No problem. The Axon 40 Ultra is different. The selfie camera on ZTE's new flagship is hidden underneath the display. Furthermore, there are as many as three 64MP cameras on the phone's glass back cover, including a telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. The other high-end components such as the 120 Hz AMOLED display and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 seem almost pedestrian in comparison.

Chinese-German friendship. The Vivo X Fold is a smartphone with a foldable screen that has two traditional German brands as partners: The camera is optimized in cooperation with Zeiss, and Schott supplies the protective glass. Whether the expensive smartphone can convince as a Chinese import can be found out in our test.

Sharp and inexpensive. A high-resolution display, the main camera with many pixels, and fast storage - the realme Narzo 50A Prime offers a lot for little money. At least on paper, the smartphone looks very promising, but of course, we want to know for sure in our test.

Mini-LED touchscreen with 1,100 nits. 1,100 nits of real HDR gaming for the first time thanks to mini-LED in a laptop: Asus' ROG Flow X16 is a 16-inch convertible that remains permanently cool despite its compact design and 140 watts of power, thus performing better than other upper-class notebooks while also remaining quieter.

Endurance runner. The Inspiron scores points with a powerful Ryzen 5 APU (Barcelo), 16 GB of RAM, and very good battery life. Positive: USB-C Power Delivery is supported. Dell has chosen a 14-inch display in the more work-friendly 16:10 format here (1,920x1,200 pixels).

Optional Intel Arc A370M graphics. If you ever wanted a big-screen 2-in-1 laptop regardless of how much it could weigh, then the new 16-inch Lenovo Yoga 7 convertible should fit the bill nicely. The model offers some of the latest processors available including Intel 12th gen Core-P and Core-H CPUs and discrete Intel Arc graphics.

Wasted performance. Newsmay is currently selling a mini PC called S2-B560TPM. The highly efficient Rocket Lake processor provides a solid basis for a work PC that is suitable for both home and office use. Whilst the compact computer is able to effortlessly handle everyday tasks, more could have been done with it. Read on to find out more.

Papier is patient. The MatePad Paper is an unusual tablet. The black-and-white E Ink display makes sure of this. However, you can also install Android apps. We evaluate in our test whether the MatePad Paper can be suitable for everyday use.

Affordable all-rounder? OnePlus continues to expand its budget smartphone lineup. The latest addition is the Nord 2 CE Lite 5G, which aims to assert itself against the strong mid-range competition with an attractive price, solid SoC power and good features. We put it to the test.

Affordable Intel 12th gen. Vaio has updated its FE14 series with Intel Alder Lake-U options. Since the chassis remains unchanged year-over-year, some parts of the design are feeling outdated by today's high Ultrabook standards.

Since rugged phones are built to withstand what many other handsets can't, their designers usually don't bother much in the looks department. However, the MediaTek Helio G96-driven Doogee S98 looks very good while still being able to take a lot of punishment. It runs Android 12 out of the box and can easily handle most contemporary mobile apps.

Over 1,100 nits in the cheap mid-range. The Poco X4 Pro 5G comes with a lot of hardware highlights for an RRP of around US$ 300. On top of 5G support, the successor to the Poco X3 Pro gets various improvements, including a very bright AMOLED display with 120 Hz. However, the X4 Pro does not make everything better ...

Has Apple reached the limits of the 5 nm process? The Apple M2 is here and after our reviews of the MacBook Pro 13 and the MacBook Air M2, we want to have a closer look at the new M2 chip. What changed, which improvements can you expect, and how does the increased power consumption affect the efficiency, especially compared to the previous M1 chip?

Solid workhorse. Dell's Inspiron 15 5515 is an office notebook that comes in a simple and sleek design, accompanied by up to 4.3 GHz of fast AMD Ryzen 7 power and a rather large battery. In this review, we put the laptop through its paces.

UFS memory on board. The manufacturer relies on a chic exterior for the realme Narzo 50i Prime. Otherwise, the inexpensive phone is equipped with fast memory, but also only a single camera. Is the Narzo 50i Prime worth its 140 Euros asking price?

Husky i7 outclasses the competition With up to 120 W of constant CPU power consumption, the i7-12700H is even challenging the more expensive i9 CPUs. And with 16 GB of RAM, 2 TB of NVME storage and an unleashed RTX 3060, gamers and content-creators have all manner of performance reserves at their disposal. Does the 16-inch QHD display, and over-the-top connectivity deliver that convincing overall package? That’s what we aim to clarify here.

Switched. The Asus TUF F15 is an upper mid-range QHD gaming laptop with a well-rounded configuration: The Core i7-12650H, the GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop version, 16 GB of RAM, and 1 of TB SSD. The matte QHD display covers the DCI-P3 color space almost completely. The Alder Lake CPU's E-cores can be deactivated.

Thinnest Pavilion thus far. The "Plus" doesn't mean plus-size. HP's latest Pavilion laptop adds a host of high-end features and performance upgrades that could have easily belonged to an Envy or Spectre model. Does the Pavilion Plus 14 cut any corners?

Compact student laptop The Asus ExpertBook B3 Detachable is a small 2-in-1 laptop with an attachable keyboard. Featuring the power-efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2, the device is designed to let students work and learn with ease. Whilst it may indeed be good enough for the intended market, the device still has many limitations.

Maximum configuration. With its 17-inch display, Nvidia graphics, and Intel's Core i7 CPU, Lenovo's V17 G2 is well suited for office and multimedia tasks, including simple gaming. Our review shows whether the additional premium for the top equipment is worthwhile for the otherwise affordable laptop.

AMOLED was yesterday. Unlike the predecessor and most other phones in its price range, Samsung's Galaxy M33 has a fast screen, but it is not based on AMOLED technology. Read our review to find out whether the mid-range phone can still convince.

The M2 is not as efficient as the M1. After almost two years, the MacBook Air M1 finally gets a successor that is specifically designed for Apple’s own silicon. The new Air with the M2 CPU also comes with a much steeper price, because the entry-level unit with 8 GB RAM and a meager 256 GB SSD starts for $1299. Is the price justified?

Silent Mini PC! Under the label ZBOX PI336 pico, Zotac markets very compact desktop PCs that can easily fit in your pant pocket. However, the current model based on an Elkhart Lake SOC is not always convincing. The Xgimi Aura laser TV could be an interesting solution for those who find a normal TV too boring, or who simply want image diagonals of up to 120 inches at an affordable price. The short-throw projector shows what it can do in our first impression.

Is (it) cool enough? The former director of OnePlus is once again making a smartphone. This is of course going to make people take notice. The Nothing Phone (1) sets out to do many things differently and already looks quite cool with the LEDs on its rear. But at 500 Euros (£449), is it able to impress us during our review?

Lots of talent - with ifs and buts. Schenker advertises the new XMG Pro 15 with a powerful RTX 3080 Ti as an all-round talent for gamers and workstation users. Powerful hardware meets a new Clevo case, which is intended to improve on the weaknesses of the predecessor. Whether this succeeds is revealed in our detailed review below.

Affordable and good. The Motorola Moto G42 is impossible to beat, at least from the perspective of its mid-range rivals. With its bright OLED panel, a 5,000 mAh battery, and a 50 MP camera, the 6.4-inch smartphone offers a lot of features, but it's available for just under 200 Euros (~$205).

Magnesium, Aluminum, or Carbon fiber options. For most laptop families, OEMs simply offer just one material option such as magnesium alloy or carbon fiber a la the HP Spectre or the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, respectively. The Latitude 7330 wants to do it all by giving users the option to choose between three different materials.

One of UGREEN’s latest power accessories is intended for use as a desktop station. It has 4 ports, 2 of which are USB type C and rated for up to 100W Power Delivery each. Therefore, it should work as a charger for some ultrabooks, even MacBook Pros. How does it do in everyday-style testing?
