MediaTek Dimensity 9300 | ARM Immortalis-G720 MP12 | 6.78" | 221 g
The ARM Immortalis-G720 MP12 (MC12) is a high-end GPU for smartphones and tablets, which was used for the first time in this form in the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 in this form.
It uses 12 of the 16 possible cores and is based on the latest 5th generation GPU architecture (successor to valhall). According to ARM, it offers 15 percent higher performance than the previous generation with the same number of cores and can access 40 percent more memory bandwidth.
In our test of the Dimensity 9300 in the Vivo X100 Pro, the GPU can outperform the older Immortalis-G715 MP11 but remains behind an Adreno 750.
The Immortalis-G720 GPUs support Variable Rate Shading (VRS), Deferred Vertex Shading (DVS) and hardware-based ray tracing. The GPU is manufactured in 4 nanometers.
