Timex has launched five Q Marbella watches with integrated bracelets and bolt-detailed bezels, priced from $209 to $239. Available in 34 mm and 40.5 mm, all five run quartz movements with textured dials, mineral crystals and 50 m water resistance.

Preorders are now open for Seiko's Laurel-inspired Presage Classic pair in Japan. The enamel HCC005J is ¥179,300 (~$1,125) and the urushi HCC006J ¥209,000 (~$1,312), both releasing September 5 through Core Shops.

Timex is expanding its retro Q Timex Continental Chronograph lineup with three new ’70s-inspired models. Each model features a beautiful radial “CD” dial and compact 36mm case. The new black, ice-blue, and gold-tone variants are now available for $279 each.

Citizen has quietly brought two of its latest monochrome Nighthawk chronographs to the US, months after they debuted in other markets. The $575 CA0897-04H and $595 CA0890-54H share the same Eco-Drive movement and cockpit-inspired design, but offer different case finishes and strap options.

Seiko's Edo Murasaki 145th anniversary collection is now open for preorder on the brand's Japanese online store ahead of an October 9 release. All the watches range in price from ¥63,800 to ¥330,000 (~$400 to $2,071). The store ships only within Japan, and several references are domestic-only.

Seiko's Alpinist Mechanical GMT in blue and black is now up for preorder on the brand's Japanese online store at ¥155,100 (~$974) each. The HBC008J and HBC009J release September 11 through Core Shops only, with no international launch announced.

Citizen's rectangular Dress Classic range is now on sale in the UK. The BJ6570-50E is priced at £229 (~$310) and the two-tone BJ6574-59E and gold-tone BJ6572-54X at £249 (~$337). All three use sapphire crystal, Eco-Drive and a 36 x 26.5 mm case with 50 m water resistance.

Casio's G-Shock GD-350S-1 has moved from preorder to general sale on Casio UK at £100 (~$135). The rugged digital offers vibration alerts through caseback shock absorbers, 200 m water resistance, world time and a five-year CR2032 battery.

Hands-on images of Seiko's Presage x Tradman's Bonsai from Fratello and Hodinkee Japan show the Japanese HCC011J features collaboration branding across its sapphire caseback that the global HCC009J1 does not. The dial also shifts sharply with light.

Casio, Seiko and Citizen released more than 30 watch references in the first half of August. Casio's August 7 batch moved five lines to general sale in Japan, Seiko's 145th anniversary wave reached seven pieces plus three new Presage Classics, and Citizen brought new models, plus confirmed Western pricing on two Tsuyosa models.

Orient Star's teaser site now carries a date: 9 September 2026. The page lists no references, specs or caliber, only dark movement footage and solar system imagery hinting at a celestial theme. The watch will land in the brand's 75th anniversary year.

Citizen has unveiled the new Peyten EM1232-59D watch with a mother-of-pearl dial. The watch ships with a gold-tone finish, a 30 mm stainless steel case, 50 m (5 bar) water resistance, a mineral crystal, and a matching gold-tone stainless steel bracelet with a fold-over clasp with push buttons.

Seiko's Presage Cocktail Time HCB001J1, HCB002J1 and HCB003J1 are now live beyond Japan. Singapore lists all three at SGD 708.50 (~$553) and the UK at £420. The 38.5 mm trio uses textured dials, the 4R35 automatic and Hardlex glass.

Timex has refreshed the Waterbury Classic with a textured dial and a sub-seconds register at 6 o'clock, dropping the central seconds hand entirely. Four 39 mm quartz references are listed, with leather from $189 and bracelets at $219 and $239.

Casio’s Bluetooth-equipped F-B100W series is set to launch in the UK, with teal and black models listed at £55. The compact watch modernizes the classic F-91W design with step tracking, smartphone connectivity, activity logging, and two-year battery life.

Seiko has freshly announced two Presage Classic Series watches inspired by the 1913 Laurel, its first wristwatch. The HCC005 has a white enamel dial with a red 12, and the HCC006 a black urushi dial with gold Kaga Maki-e numerals. From £1,250 in September.

Seiko’s Presage Classic x Tradman’s Bonsai limited edition channels a moonlit Japanese black pine through a textured green dial, gold-tone case and traditional pine-needle detailing. Limited to 2,000 pieces, the 38mm automatic watch offers a 72-hour power reserve, sapphire crystal and 100-meter water resistance, with a global release planned for September.

Citizen has priced the Tsuyosa 60 37 mm NK0030-51E at $595 in the US and £399 in the UK — $70 above its own limited-edition Tsuyosa Shore. Caliber 8310 brings the 60-hour reserve to a 37 mm case for the first time. Sapphire glass, 50 m WR.

Citizen has priced the limited Tsuyosa Shore "Time Slip" at $525 in the US, above the $462.50 projected at launch. The 12,000-piece NJ0238-57E sells for £349 in the UK including VAT. Caliber 8210, 40 mm, 100 m WR.

Timex has added three 30 mm Quartz E Line watches to its lineup. This takes its rounded-square TV Dial case well below the 34 mm automatic. Sunray dials come in pink and champagne, with 50 m water resistance and a butterfly clasp. Pricing is set from $269 to $289.

Citizen’s new World Chronograph A.T. combines Eco-Drive solar power with radio-controlled timekeeping that automatically adjusts the time and calendar across 26 time zones. The 43mm stainless steel watch features a green dial and is currently only available in the UK.

Citizen has launched three compact, colorful Promaster Dive watches in the US, UK, and Canada, with prices starting at $450, £319, and CA$625. The 40.6mm divers pair 200-meter water resistance with sustainable urethane straps and Citizen’s new solar-powered Eco-Drive Caliber E118, which offers up to one year of power reserve.

Timex has recently listed three 38 mm Automatic E Line watches, taking its rounded-square TV Dial case up from 34 mm. All three run a Miyota 8215 with an exhibition caseback and 50 m water resistance. Prices start at $379, well above the 34 mm version.

Seiko's Edo Murasaki collection has one other model not covered previously. The Lukia HEE004J is Japan-only, limited to 400 pieces at ¥130,900 (~$822), with a pure titanium case, 11 lab-grown diamonds and solar radio caliber 1B32. Release is set for October.

Casio's US store has cut all three Fine Metallic G-Shock squares by 20%, taking the GM5600YM-8 and GM5600YM-8A8 to $192 and the gold GM-5600YMG-9 to $224. The GM-2110D-4A is also down to $264. All watches are equipped with a resin/stainless-steel build.

Seiko's seven Power Design Project concepts are reaching Japan House London from 27 August to 15 September, free to enter. Seiko says that none of them are headed for production, however, the company did release collection 1 from an earlier concept in December 2025.

Seiko has priced the Presage HCC008 at $1,150 in the US, $200 above the three standard references in the Tomioka Silk lineup. The 2,000-piece limited edition adds pink gold-tone plating, a coin-edge bezel and a pearl-coated dial. Serial numbers are random.

Casio has added four fresh colorways to MY G-Shock in Japan, sold as Magma Orange, Strato Blue, Slime Pink and Bio Green. The DWE-5610 customization service now starts at ¥24,200 (~$153), up 57% from its ¥15,400 launch price in 2021. Japan only.

Smartwatches outsell traditional watches ten to one. So why is the watch industry still worth tens of billions, and why are the Japanese brands, selling at smartwatch prices, the only ones actually growing? The answer is not nostalgia.

Casio's LTPB150D-7B is now available in the US at $89.95. The rectangular dress watch measures 31 × 22 × 7.5 mm, pairs a Roman numeral dial with a stainless-steel bracelet and triple-fold clasp, and runs analog quartz with a three-year battery.

Casio's F-91WF has been confirmed to sell for about $48 in Thailand. We priced 18 mm nylon straps on AliExpress between $0.99 and $4.85, meaning a standard F-91W plus a band ends up near $25. The catch is fitting the strap, not cost, since spring bar clearance is tight.

Four of the five Casio watches released in Japan on August 7 are already listed below Casio's own pricing in the country. Yodobashi has the Pro Trek PRJ-B001EX-1JR at ¥26,400 against ¥33,000. The new Edifice EFS-S660 is the only one holding firm for now. Stock seems to be moving fast.

Casio's MRW-240H trio left preorder and went on sale in Japan on August 7 at ¥6,050 (~$38) each. The dive-styled analog offers a rotating aluminum bezel, 10-bar WR and date, but uses acrylic glass. Japanese retailers already list it for cheaper.

Casio is giving its legendary F-91W a fabric strap made from recycled materials, but the upgrade doesn't appear to be cheap. Based on early pricing in Asia, the new F-91WF could sell for nearly twice as much as the standard model.

Citizen’s new Promaster Seahawk x Sikorsky is a stealthy, MH-60R-inspired dive watch featuring a 43.5mm titanium case, Eco-Drive movement, and ISO-certified 200-meter water resistance. Priced at $575, this special edition watch is currently only available in the US.

Timex has launched the 1976 Lexington Reissue Inspired watch in the US for $149, reviving its 1970s rectangular dress watch design. It has a 21mm polished stainless steel case, quartz movement and a silver dial with elongated Roman numerals.

Casio's resin-band G-Steel GST-B1000-1AJF and GST-B1000-2AJF left preorder and are now on sale in Japan at ¥60,500 (~$382). At 58 grams, they weigh half the metal versions, share the same case, Tough Solar and Bluetooth.

Casio's Edifice EFS-S660D-1AJF and EFS-S660PB-1AJF are now purchasable in Japan at ¥33,000 (~$208) each. Buyers get sapphire crystal with 10-bar water resistance. The PB variant adds Toyota Racing branding; the steel version weighs 129 g against its 71 g.

Casio's ¥8,800 F-B100W opened for direct purchase in Japan on August 7 and sold out on Casio's own store within hours. The F-91W-styled digital gets step counting and Bluetooth time sync. Third-party Japanese retailers still list some stock.

Casio's Oceanus Retro Tone Collection is now buyable in Japan: 300 Manta OCW-S400RL-8AJR at ¥165,000 and 500 Classic Line OCW-T2600RL-3AJR at ¥115,500. Titanium cases, three-layer gradient dials and Tochigi Leather straps. No release planned abroad.

Citizen has expanded its Eco-Drive moonphase lineup with four new radio-controlled watches powered by the H874 movement. Like the recent Mid-Autumn Moon limited edition, they automatically keep both the time and moonphase accurate using atomic timekeeping

Timex's new MK1 Chronograph pairs a battery-powered movement with a mechanical stopwatch module. It launches in a $239 green-dial version and a $249 blue-dial version, both on 40mm steel cases.

Timex has launched the Retroware Digital, a 1990s-styled digital watch selling now in the US for $149. It ships in blue and grey-green resin colorways with a 46mm case, Indiglo backlight and 50m water resistance. The watch runs on a standard quartz movement with no smart features, just an alarm, timer and chronograph.

Timex has introduced two new field watches, namely, the TW2Y89500 and the TW2Y89400, in the US. The company packs camo dials into its latest field watches. Speaking more precisely, the former comes with a green camo dial, while the latter ships with a tan camo dial.

Two more brand-new Seiko Astron Nexter models are joining the company's 145th anniversary lineup — the HAC003J (¥165,000) and HAD003J (¥176,000), each limited to 500 pieces — a quarter the size of the already-restricted HAB011J. Japan-only, radio-controlled, releasing October 9.

Seiko has added blue (HBC008J) and black (HBC009J) dial options to its Alpinist Mechanical GMT line, sold only through Japan's core shop network. Same 6R54 movement and case as the global HBC007, releasing September 11 at 155,100 yen (~$983) each.

The Edo purple Seiko Selection HFL001P1 is the fourth colorway in Seiko's Rotocall digital lineup, back in production since October 2025. It's the line's priciest release yet at 83,600 yen for 4,000 pieces, releasing in Japan on October 9.

Seiko's new wave of 145th anniversary limited editions trades gold and blue for Edo purple. Six watches are launching across Prospex, Presage, Astron, 5 Sports, and the Rotocall, with edition sizes running from 2,000 to 9,999 pieces. All arrive in October, priced from 63,800 JPY to 330,000 JPY.
